Before I could apologize, I felt my body lifted up, and the next thing I realized was being on the bed.

Everyone was in support of his suggestion except for Zach, his son. “I heard Alpha Prince Sean is returning to the realm. “What can we do? If the vampires have Braham’s daughter, then it is obvious—”

“I would report this to the Alpha! Since you decide to only care about your selfish interest, I would never attend meetings with you in place of Alpha Lykoz!” Zach half-yelled before leaving the meeting.

He got into his car, driving off to the Alpha's house.

Arriving at Lykoz’s house, he pulled over before entering the compound but stopped halfway upon hearing Ayira’s voice.

“Beta Zach, why have you been abandoning me? Were you planning to reject me? Uh?”

He turned to face the poor lady who wanted to experience what it felt to be loved just like others. “Ayira, I am sorry. I can't be your mate. I am to only serve Alpha Lykoz and not get involved in a romantic relationship,” he replied coldly before leaving to report to Alpha Lykoz the outcome of the meeting.
