LYKOZ ‘S POV:

Even though I was weak and unable to fight my wolf or resist the heat, I kept struggling.

My desire to stop hurting her pushed me into fighting my wolf with the last strength left in me. This time, my hands were forcefully wrapped around her waist, my cock thrusting ruthlessly into her. I wanted to stop myself from fucking her mercilessly, but it was of no use.

It was always this way every time I am in heat, my wolf going feral due to the curse.

“Go… easy… please…”

Her pleading voice gave me the strength to fight my wolf which had already taken full charge, my claws forcing themselves out, my body slowly transforming.

“Don’t stop me. I am going to do what you can't do— claim her and be free from this bondage we are into,” Jules yelled, sounding desperate.

I ignored his words, trying to stop myself from his control. Not only was my adamancy affecting me physically, but also affecting my wolf.

Slowly, I began to slow the pace at which I thrust in. It took me a while before I was able to pull out, barely able to control my body fully.

Just when I was about to leave the room, not wanting to count Dina as one of the ladies I murdered all because of this beasty nature of mine, I turned to leave.

I could barely take a step when I staggered, my body feeling numb, my head going almost blank.

With the way my body was reacting, I knew I already exhausted my strength and weakened my wolf. It would take days before Jules awakened, or probably go into hibernation.

I would rather prefer that instead of becoming a murderer rather than a protector! I should be protecting everyone and not destroying them!

“Are you okay?” Dina's voice echoed, sounding like I didn't hurt her seconds ago.

“Yes,” I replied weakly, my whole body aching.

I tried to stand up on my feet, trying to leave the room, but fell down, my head totally going blank with my body slowly giving in to unconsciousness.

DINA'S POV:

It's been three days since Lykoz passed out in my hands. Many pointed fingers at me, calling me names. Some said I was cursed and the reason why he was in this state.

I want to disappear and live my life pretending all this was just a nightmare, but I am responsible for this. I should be responsible enough to take care of him until he wakes up.

“My Luna,” the physician called out, addressing me by that name which everyone had been calling me after finding out Lykoz passed out during the period of intimacy. “His pulse is still the same. It might take days before he wakes up, especially since his wolf hasn't awakened.”

“If this continues, what might happen?” I asked curiously, hoping it doesn't reach that extent.

“If he doesn't wake up before today ends, I am afraid, we have to declare him dead,” the physical replied, confusing me. “If an Alpha becomes unconscious for three days, it means he has given up on living— which rarely happened,” he emphasized.

“He would wake up,” I said with certainty, turning to look at him— he looked pale and pitiful. “Do everything within your power to keep him alive!” My voice echoed.

I stood up before leaving his room, my heart heavy.

I am not supposed to be bothered about his predicament, especially since returning back home to my mother is what should be my priority. But I can't help it.

I ruined my father's life. I can't ruin another person's perfect life! Never!

“My Luna, watch your steps,” the man who I thought was Lykoz driver, addressed as Beta Zach, snapped me out of my thoughts.

I raised my gaze to look at him before muttering, “Please address me as Dina. You don't have to act like others, especially since you know I was more like a slave to Alpha Lykoz.”

“But that doesn't change the fact that you are our Alpha's destined mate and you also survived our Alpha’s heat,” he said, his words lifting up my mood. “I was just about to go see him. Is he awake?”

“He is still unconscious,” I replied calmly.

“To this moment?” His brow drew together, he asked.

I nodded, unable to bring myself to inform him of the physician's words.

“I would come back to check him up after finding another competent physician,” Zach muttered before leaving, reigniting my lost hope.

I wanted to leave for my room but couldn't. I have to stay with him and make sure he wakes up.

Being in this strange world for about three days, trying to blend in with strangers whose ways were unknown to me, was more harder than putting up with Lykoz and his commands.

Guilt eating me up, I returned to his room. I walked up to his bedside before I sat down. I lowered my gaze, my hand touching his right cheeks.

“Alpha Lykoz, please wake up. Prove to me that my existence isn't a disaster, please,” I cried, my father's words flashing in my head.

I cried in that position for a while. Reality hitting me; In the end, everything was as my father said— I am going to ruin Lykoz’s life the same way I ruined my father's life.

I gave up on hoping for what is impossible. I stood up, about to leave my room to cry myself to sleep, but was dragged by an unknown force.

The force made me turn to face Lykoz, almost falling on him.

“Did you come to check if I wasn't going to wake up again so you could escape?” He asked, a dark smirk playing on his lips.
