Chapter 27

"What? get married? No! didn't I tell you that I don't agree to this match? Why is dad still continuing this match?!" Mr. Arka shouted when his father casually said that next month he had to marry Jenny.

Jenny, Mr. Arka and Arka's father immediately looked at the cleaning service who had just come to deliver drinks. 

 

"You can work, can't you?" Jenny shouted at the cleaning service who had dropped the glass until it broke.

 

"Sorry. I'll clean the glass... Akh!" 

 

Mr. Arka immediately stood up and approached the cleaning service whose hand was injured while cleaning up the broken glass. Usually he doesn't care about anyone but for some reason when he saw the cleaning service's injured hand made him panic. "Are you okay? Oh your hands are bleeding!"

 

The cleaning service stared in surprise when Mr. Arka suddenly withdrew his hand, sipping the blood that came out of the wound on his hand.

 

"Why does seeing the look on his face so worried make my heart beat so fast?" thought Naya, the person disguised as a cleaning service. 

 

"ARKANA!" his father snapped when he saw the sight of his son with the cleaning service.

 

"Arka what are you doing?"

 

"Don't touch it dammit!" Mr. Arka shouted when Jenny loudly pushed the cleaning service.

 

Mr. Arka immediately pulled the cleaning service's hand out of the room. Ignoring the screams of his father and Jenny who were calling him.

 

"Gosh, where are they going," said Miss Joana, who had just come out of the room where she had tied up the cleaning service who caught her earlier.

 

Mr. Arka closed the car door very hard, making the person in the passenger seat startled. "You don't want to take off your mask?" he asked. 

 

"I know it's you, Naya," he continued before starting his car engine.

 

"Why follow me?" he asked again after Naya had taken off her mask.

 

Earlier, when the cleaning service caught Naya and Miss Joana, Miss Joana told Naya to pretend to be a cleaning service so she could enter the meeting room and hear what Mr. A was discussing with her father and Jenny. Miss Joana told Naya because she couldn't possibly disguise herself as a cleaning service with her unique clothes and then everyone would be found out. Miss Joana's job is just to wait for the original cleaning service so they don't run away.

 

"Miss Joana forced me to follow you."

 

"Miss Jaona? But I didn't see it. Are you looking for an excuse by using Miss Joana's name?"

 

Before Naya had time to finish her words, the vibration of Mr. Arka's cell phone shifted her focus. "Juna?"

 

Hearing Juna's name mentioned made Naya immediately look at him, why did Juna contact Mr. Arka?

 

"Why didn't you pick it up, sir?" Naya asked when Mr. Arka rejected the call.

 

[ Juna : "Sir, sorry to disturb you. Is Naya with you? Her cell phone is off, please tell her, her mother is in the hospital." ]

Naya ran over to Jihan and her friends who were standing in front of the ICU room. A few moments ago Juna sent Mr. Arka a message, he said that Naya's mother was in hospital. At that time, Naya immediately asked her teacher to take her to the hospital. "Hiks Jihan, how is mom? Hiks what happened, why did you end up in the hospital?”

 

"I don't know either, Nay. Someone came to school earlier, he looked for you and said that your mother was in the hospital."

 

"Patient's family?" asked a doctor who treated Naya's mother.

 

"I'm her child. How is my mother? She's fine, right? What's wrong with my mother, doc?"

 

"The patient suffered a fairly deep stab wound, he lost a lot of blood. Luckily your friend quickly donated blood and now the patient's condition is still critical."

 

Naya's tears flowed even harder after hearing the doctor's explanation about her mother's condition. How could a mother become a stabbing victim? Who would have the heart to do that? There are so many questions that Naya is now thinking about.

 

"Hiks Jihan hiks I don't want to lose my mother hiks, I'm the only mother I have sob."

 

Jihan, Sina and Dahya could only remain silent and try to calm Naya. They are also the same as Naya, sad and worried about Naya's mother's condition. "You calm down, Nay, I'm sure your mother will recover," said Dahya while gently rubbing Naya's shoulder.

 

"Hiks who did this? Hiks what happened."

 

"From what I heard earlier, there were several thugs who came to your mother's shop. The thugs were angry, he wanted to ask your mother for money because your mother didn't want to give money, the thugs destroyed the shop and stabbed your mother," explained Sina, she heard a few stories from people around who were witnesses to the incident.

 

"Are those people ordered by Daddy? Daddy is really going too far. This is really crazy," thought Mr. Arka, clenching his fists tightly.

 

"Nay, sorry, I have to go now. You can look after Naya for a while, right? I'll come back later," said Mr. Arka.

Mr. Arka opened the door to his house very loudly. His eyes turned red, radiating the emotions he had been holding back. 

 

"DADDY!!" 

 

"Arka, what's wrong? Why are you screaming?" asked his mother in surprise when she heard her son's screams so loud.

 

"Mom, where is daddy?"

 

"Why are you looking for him? What's wrong?"

 

"Where's daddy, mom?”

 

"I'm here. Are you crazy? You think this house is a forest so you can scream freely?" said his father who had just come out of his study.

 

Arka looked at his father with a look full of anger. With big steps he approached his father who was standing proudly a few steps away from him.

 

"Arka!" his mother shouted when she saw Arka hit his father until he fell on the floor.

 

"What have you done to Naya's mom?” What have you done?!" 

 

"Arka, that's enough. Let go of your daddy," Arka's mother tried to pull away his hand which was about to throw another punch.

 

"What have you done to make Naya's mom go to the hospital?!" Arka shouted loudly after his mother managed to pull him a little away from his father.

 

"What happened? what have you done?" Arka's mother asked her husband.

 

Arka's father, who was helped by the servant to stand up, smiled wryly, "You hit your father just to defend them? That's really unexpected."

 

"Don't make things worse. Quickly tell me what you did to Naya's family?" shouted Mr. Arka angrily. The man didn't care at all if the person he was currently shouting at was his own biological father. He wouldn't have come to this if his father hadn't done something that went too far.
