Chapter 33

"What are you doing here? And what did you mean when you said you were the homeroom teacher earlier?"

Currently Arka is in the lab room with Naya. A few minutes ago, when Arka was teaching in one of the classes, Naya suddenly came and introduced herself as the new homeroom teacher there. This of course surprised Arka. Then the man immediately pulled his fiancee's hand out of the classroom and took her to the lab room which was currently empty.

"Starting today I will be the temporary homeroom teacher replacing Miss Anna who is on maternity leave."

"What? How is that possible?!" Arka shouted with a surprised expression. How could Naya suddenly replace Miss Anna when Naya had never applied for a job as a teacher or had experience as a teacher?

Seeing her fiance's surprise, Naya tried to explain everything slowly. Actually, a few days ago, after seeing Arka being surrounded and liked by almost all the female students, Naya was quite scared and annoyed. Naya is afraid that Arka will change his heart from her. 

When she poured out his heart to Jinan and Dahya, Dahya suddenly suggested that she apply for a job at her school first, even if only as a staff member so she could supervise Arka. However, when she applied for a job, on the same day Miss Anna suddenly asked for maternity leave. The school owner, none other than Arka's grandfather, finally asked Naya to replace Miss Anna's position temporarily.

"So grandfather asked you to be homeroom teacher in Miss Anna's place?" 

Naya nodded "That's right! From now on I'm the homeroom teacher here. You won't be able to mess around here anymore, let alone charm those flirtatious boys."

Arka took a deep breath, gosh, he thought all this time he was the only one who really loved Naya, but it turns out Naya did too. Totally unexpected. 

"If your intention was just to keep an eye on me, wouldn't it be better for you to say so from the start? I can stop working if you're not comfortable with me working here."

"At first I thought that too, but after getting a suggestion from Dahya I changed my mind. It seems like it would be more exciting if we worked in the same place. Besides me being able to monitor you, I can also make your fans aware if you already have one."

Arka smiled amusedly at what Naya had just said. I don't know how to react, but it's clear that Arka was quite happy to hear that. At least the man felt that he wasn't the only one who was afraid of losing Naya, it turned out that Naya also felt the same way.

"Okay, if that's your decision, I will support you."

"Thank you. Now we should go back. You should continue teaching and I will arrange my things on my desk."

"We don't want to say goodbye to Naya first?" Yuna asked Juna.

After being in a relationship for quite a long time and now having graduated from college, they finally decided to get married in Bali and live there. 

"We haven't communicated with him for a long time. What if he gets angry and doesn't want to see us?" 

Yuna was silent, after graduating from high school, she and Juna immediately moved to Jogja to study there. They left without telling Naya or their other friends. This is what makes Yuna and Juna afraid that their friends won't accept them anymore after suddenly deciding to leave.

"At least let's try it first. We've already left without any news once, you don't want to do it a second time, right? If they are angry and don't want to meet us, that's fine."

Juna finally nodded, tonight they will fly to Jakarta before flying to Bali tomorrow. According to information from their other friends, Naya and her friends have moved to Jakarta.

"I'll try to contact them first. Hopefully they can still be contacted."

Naya looked at all her students who had been silent for a long time when she explained the material she was teaching. 

What is meant by silence is not silently listening, but rather daydreaming and ignoring it.

"I repeat once again, is there anything you want to ask? You can ask if any of the material I explained is not clear."

The sound of the bell suddenly singing made all the students immediately scatter out of the classroom, without paying any attention to it at all. 

A sigh escaped Naya's mouth, it turns out this is how hard it is to be a teacher. Naya immediately regretted that she had ignored her teacher when teaching.

"Come on, Naya, you can't give up, you have to do it. You can't lose to those annoying kids," she thought to herself.

While he was tidying up some of his books, suddenly his cell phone vibrated indicating an incoming message.

[ Jihan : "Naya, where are you? Still teaching? Just now I got a call from Juna, he said he would come to Jakarta tonight. He and Yuna also said they wanted to meet us at the cafe where we usually meet at 7 pm. Oh yeah Don't forget to invite Arka too, okay?" ]

"Juna? He still remembers us," Naya muttered after reading Jihan's message. If I'm honest, Naya was quite disappointed in the man who decided to leave without a word after graduating from high school.

"What? Meet Juna? No! You can't meet him."

After receiving the message from Jihan, Naya immediately looked for Arka and told him about it. However, it seems that Arka quite objects if Naya goes to meet Juna, the person Naya used to like.

"Listen first, Jihan said Juna wanted to meet all of us including you. Besides, he also came with Yuna."

"Still, I don't want to! What if suddenly you like him again? Especially after he's been gone for so long, could you miss him so much and end up liking him again?"

Naya chuckled in annoyance, apparently Arka still liked to be jealous of Juna. "Are you still jealous of Juna? Oh My gosh, Arka, we're even engaged but you think I still like him? Besides, Juna is definitely still with Yuna, so what do you have to be afraid of?"

"Nonetheless."

"Stop! Anyway, I still want to come. Whether you want to come or not is up to you," said Naya before walking away, leaving Arka with his various complaints.

"It's getting worse if I don't come." Arka muttered. 

“Naya wait!! Yes, I'm coming!" He shouted then as he ran after his fiancé who had started walking far away.

No, Mr. Arka won't let Naya go alone. It's possible that Naya's feelings for Juna will return if they meet. Mr. Arka won't let that happen. He had worked hard to get Naya so he would never let her go again.
