Noticing something off about the atmosphere between Alex and Blake, Nigel hastily played the role of the peacemaker. "Thank you so much, Mr. Wagner. Also, please don't mind Alex's words too much. That's just how he talks, and he doesn't have any bad intentions at all!"

"I promised to make it up to you earlier, and I'm certain that you'll be satisfied with the results."

With that, Nigel even looked expectantly at Blake. I was shocked by his behavior. Businessmen really were of a different breed. They were just too flexible.
