"I know I'm being a little pushy. I can settle lunch myself, actually. You just need to help me with breakfast and dinner, and also help me when I'm in the shower," Blake said.

Seeing my hesitation, he added, "Of course, if you agree to stay, you can use everything I have in this apartment, including my car."

With his goal achieved, Blake carefully suppressed his amusement and took my bag from me. "In that case, I'll have to keep troubling you for the near future. Let me put your bag back in the room for you."

"I can do it myself." I tried to take my bag back. I felt bad letting an injured man carry my bag for me.
