Chapter 28

"This is the guest room, but I've been using it as a storeroom and haven't had time to clean it out yet," Blake said as he opened the door.

When I saw the interior of the guest room, I was excited. The room was painted blue and white, with a theme focused on seafaring. Over on the shelf, there were even figurines from my favorite cartoons when I was younger.

I pushed my way in eagerly, taking in every detail. This was the bedroom I'd wished for as a child. I was ecstatic.

However, even though the room wasn't small by any measure, it was packed with boxes. Some of the boxes held mechanical toys, some held old DVDs and tapes, and some were filled with books. The boxes filled the room.

"This… This is…" I could barely hold in my excitement. I covered my mouth with my hand to stop myself from screaming. This bedroom wasn't only my childhood dream, but also my current dream!
