Chapter 30

I was quick at cooking, so it didn't take long for me to finish whipping up dinner. I made some salmon steak with boiled broccoli and some mushroom soup as a starter. Both of us cleared our plates quickly, which gave me a sense of satisfaction.

I was expecting to feel uncomfortable living in Blake's apartment, but just as Blake had promised, he did not act out of bounds at all. We worked well together—or rather, Blake seemed to know what I was thinking most of the time. So, we got along fairly well.

After dinner, I helped Blake wash his hair and shower before changing the bandages on his head. Then, Blake urged me to go to bed.

It had been a busy day, so I was tired. However, it was still only 9:00 pm. I didn't think I would be able to fall asleep so early, especially with Blake in the same bed. Then again, it would be awkward to stay up with Blake too.
