Daddy

LEAH'S POV

My heart swelled with emotions. I knew there was no turning back now. I already made the decision, and my kids deserved everything in this world.

I nodded at Bella, forcing a small smile on my lips despite the complicated emotions I was feeling. “Of course, you can, darling.”

Their faces lit up once more, the pure joy and excitement couldn’t be concealed on them.

“We have a daddy now!” Clyde exclaimed, grinning ear to ear as he faced both Bella and Calvin beside him, his face showing a proud and happy look. “And we have two daddies at that!”

His words earned a giggle from Bella and also an eager nod from Calvin.

I watched them silently. Seeing their reactions somewhat made my heart feel a little lighter. It made me happy as long as they’re happy.

“Alright, it’s getting late. You should go to sleep now.” I said in a gentle tone, tucking them once more on the bed.

“Mom, can we see our daddies tomorrow? Or will they still be busy?” Calvin asked me another question.
