Speak of the devil. He met us talking. Abhishek almost lost his cool. Thankfully Ayan held him down.

Avanti left immediately, she's acting like we don't know what happened.

I left to meet her in the room. She turns to see me standing at the door.

"Avanti, what's happening, can you tell me the truth,"

I slammed the door behind me.

She rushed over and sat me down on the bed. She opened the door to see if anyone was coming before locking it again.

"Javelin! Whatever happens, promise me that you won't tell my brother not even Ayan,"

She kicked her back on the door as I got up and pulled her away.

"Tell me, why is Karan blackmailing you?"

She looked up and stared at me. Of course, Avanti must be startled to hear that I know what happened.

"Let me go javelin,".

Avanti slammed my hands away

She walked towards the window, crocheting her hands together.

What is it that Avanti isn't telling me?

Why can't she tell me anything?

Ayan walks into the room.

Avanti turned and I did, he looked so angry.

"Javelin, can you please leave, I'll have to speak with Avanti,"

Ayan said.

Avanti and I shared a look. She shook her head, begging me not to leave.

Ayan on the other hand didn't care, he held my hand, was not friendly, and pushed me out the door.

He hit it without even giving me a chance to speak.

I came downstairs. Karan was just leaving and he looked hasty.

Abhishek came and asked about his sister

I told him that Ayan was busy talking with her Inside her room. He looked at her door and left.

The same day, my phone rang. The only time it does is when my parents are calling.

I picked up.

Dad informed me that Mom was still hell-bent on coming down to India in three weeks.

Why can't she understand? I can't come home.

I begged Dad to help me talk with her. Avanti comes down with Ayan and the two of them are left in opposite directions.

Immediately I left to meet her.

I had to disconnect Dad's call and go after her.

"Avanti, what happened between you and Ayan?*.

Avanti turns and says, that Ayan doesn't want her to get married to Karan.

He swore to break the relationship even if he had to kill someone for it.

"That's surprising.

I exclaimed.

Karan screamed from his bedroom, calling her name.

Avanti had to leave and I was left looking lost.

Firstly, Avanti and the blackmail.

And now Ayan is hell-bent on destroying everything

If he is willing to do all those things for my friend, does it mean that Ayan is in love with my best friend?

I phoned Ayan on my way to see him.

He says he was at the office and wanted me to come there.

I walked into his cabin.

He was busy talking with some officers when I walked inside.

"Hey! Can we talk?"

I said.

When I got the chance to speak on the issue that happened at home between him and Avanti.

Ayan begged me not to interfere.

Telling me not to interfere, is a language I can't ever understand, and trust me if it involves people close to my heart.

Ayan's hesitation to speak gave me the conformity to know that's something happening between them.

I got a text from Abhishek to come to the mental asylum where Mom was kept.

I left the police station and went there.

Abhishek was busy having a talk with the doctor when I got there.

He found me rushing in and came to meet me.

"Hey! What's happening?".

I asked him...

Abhishek dragged my hand, and we got to his mom's ward, but she wasn't there.

I unquestionably wanted to know where she was. Abhishek turns to the doctor and he tells on that, someone took her away from the hospital without anyone knowing about it.

How?.... This is still perhaps why Avanti Is getting married to Karan.

Abhishek swore to get the police involved, right after suing the entire hospital.

Involving the Police and law isn't a good idea.

Somehow I made Abhishek realize that his idea will make us lose everything if ever his mom isn't found.

We got back home together.

Avanti was at tht dinner table serving Karan.

Abhishek wanted to stop her. Avanti gave me a sign and I immediately stopped him.

"Kevin let's go".

I grabbed his hands and dragged him away.

Karan couldn't stop smiling. I pushed him into his bedroom and as usual, he flared up.

"How dare you let me leave, I want to teach Karan a lesson,".

He said, angrily slapping his hand on the wall.

"Calm down, we will teach him a lesson,".

I made a promise.

Abhishek, however, wasn't willing to lesson, he turned his head, faced the window, and complained about allowing his sister to get married to Karan.

I know that Abhishek is worried about his sister and also his mom.

And allowing Avanti to get married to Karan is something I will never let happen.

If Karan wants to get married to Avanti, he is, but it won't be Avanti, his not going to get married to Avanti but Ayan is

I will have to play along, to get Ayan and Avanti to get married without anyone knowing about it.

First. I have to find a way to seize Abhishek's anger from ruining everything.

" I'll be going?"

I left there and came downstairs.

Avanti was alone. She saw me coming, however when I wanted to go speak with her.

She made me stop by giving me a sign.

I looked back, Karan was busy coming down

If he finds me talking to Avanti. He will find out what happened.

That I know the truth of his blackmail.

Avanti and I spoke to each other having an eye conversation.

She asked me to create a scene.

As much as I wouldn't want to do that.
