Karan was busy with his phone. Now since Avanti wanted me to create a scene, I walked up to the dining area and angrily slammed the plate she was holding.

It broke. Karan hastily ran in and the next minute, Abhishek and Ayan joined.

Abhishek demanded an explanation. While talking he looked so angry at his sister.

Avanti bent down to pick up the broken piece of the plate on the ground, Karan grabbed her hand and forcefully pulled her up.

"What do you think, you're doing?".

In a pissed-off tone, he said.

Avanti slowly removed his hand.

"I know what I am doing, don't get involved,"

She replied. Looking at us.

I felt bad for what I did.

Karan however stopped her from bending down, he pushed her forcefully and Avanti almost fell to the ground.

Thankfully Ayan helped her.

"How dare you?", Abhishek got angry. He raised his hand to hit Karan, Avanti all of a sudden, screamed her brother's name...

She got away from Ayan and surprised us by standing between her brother and Karan .....

If I didn't know anything. I could have believed that Avanti cared about Karan. However, the trust is that, whatever this is, is all a plan.

Karan's blackmail is causing a huge rift between herself and her brother.

Abhishek left looking pissed. Ayan followed.

Karan held Avanti so forcefully and left as well.

I was standing at the dining table, facing the pieces of the broken plates on the ground.

My mind tells me that, Karan can't be acting all nice towards Avanti, come to think of it.

Where is his sister?

She might have come to meet Abhishek at the hospital and escaped, how then do we meet?

The next morning. I didn't want to leave my bedroom. Unfortunately, the minute I heard Karan and Abhishek fighting outside, I had no choice but to run down to find out what was happening.

"Hey, why the shouting?

Ayan heard me.

He turns and says, "Karen and Abhishek are having the same argument about the same issue, his marriage to Avanti,"

Ugh! How many times do I explain to Abhishek? Avanti isn't marrying Karan because he loves them, but the fact because Karan is blackmailing her.

He must have been abducted. Mrs. Anuradha is in this process.

"You'll go to jail Karan,".

Abhishek swore.

He slammed his hands together and stared so angrily.

Karan however laughed. Whatever mission, Abhishek chose to desire failed the minutes, Karan swore to get married to Avanti in less than a week.....

That's crazy.

We all stared In fear. Ayan wanted to interfere but chose to back down.

Avanti left crying. Ayan ran after her.

I saw how much Abhishek was willing to fight till the end, and that alone compelled me to interfere.

"Abhishek, come with me,". I held his hand.

At first, he wasn't willing to.

He tried taking my hands off, nonetheless, I was hesitant to let him.

We managed to leave there.

Ayan was in Avantis's room talking when Abhishek and I left to talk at his.

I can't possibly let Abhishek's anger spoil my chance of getting Ayan and Avanti married to each other.

Now reading as Abhishek POV.

One week later.

It's been a week since Karan swore to get married to my sister..

Avanti, on the other hand, isn't helping matters.

I know what javelin told me,  my sister might want to get married to Karan to save her family, I don't think I'll be able to live with myself if ever it dares to happen.

Tonight. Karan and Avanti will be having their engagement party.

This is the second time, they are both doing an engagement party had happened between the first.

For the first one, javelin and I had to swap the rings, yet no matter how much we tried to have the engagement called off, it happened.

Avanti and Karan both got engaged, now the same thing is happening.

"Abhishek! Come downstairs,"

Javelin screamed my name from the living room...

I got out of my bedroom. From the stairs, I saw that the engagement party decorations have been started.

Javelin and I went outside.

We met, Karan, and addressed the staff's working at the mansion.

Ayan was just coming out of his car, he saw what was happening and turns to the look on my face.

We all left there to talk with each other.

Ayan was still adamant about breaking off the engagement. I still want to, while we spoke javelin didn't even alter a single word.

My wife isn't quiet. She's planning something no one knows about.

"Javelin, are you okay?"

I placed my hand on her shoulders.

She falls her head down and shook it, up and down.

My wife can't just tell me whatever she might be thinking.

There's more to what we all see........

Evening. I  went down for the party. my wife and I both graced the party with our presence.

Everyone couldn't stop staring at us.

Most people will be thinking, why did get married to a non-Indian, a foreigner.

"Bro, did you see Avanti?".

Ayan said to me, as I turned around and faced him

"No, where is she?"

The party was getting packed, as I looked around.

Ayan, no information from me that he had no clue about  meeting Avanti in her bedroom.

However, it was empty when I walked inside.

Where exactly could she be?    

Did Avanti get kidnapped as well?

As Karan did something

"Abhishek, here you are, coma with done,"

Javelin said the first minutes she entered the room

I left everything I was and came rushing down.

Javelin pointed out someplace, I tried taking a closer look.

Right there, Karan and Avanti both walked out of the crowd, heading to the podium.

The rings were up there waiting for them.

Javelin came out with Ayan.

For some strange reason, my wife kept on smiling.

Ayan on the other hand couldn't contain his anger.

Perhaps did I miss something about Ayan and my sister.

Right before my eyes, Avanti got engaged to Karan, without me doing anything.

And now that's over, how about I speak with Ayan concerning his reaction to my sister getting married.
