Chapter 1: Sandrex’s Daily Routine

New York

Katulad ng kanyang nakasanayan ay maaga siyang pumasok ng company hindi pwede sa kanya ang salitang "late" he hates it. He's literally the man who's willing to do everything just to be on time always

(7:30 am New York times) nasa loob na siya ng opisina at siya pa lang ang tao sa loob because it's still so early he grab on his pen and started to sign the paper's his secretary left the other day

Maya maya ay may kumatok na sa opisina niya tanda na may pumasok ng empleyado

"Come in" he said.

At bumukas iyon at nakita niya si Edna ang sekretarya niya.

"Good morning sir Sandrex" Edna said.

"Good morning, so what's the agenda for today Edna?" Sandrex ask.

"Sir I already send it to your email kagabi pa po sir" Edna said to her boss.

"Oh? Is that so? Well I will open it later can you please bring me coffee? Thank you Edna" Sandrex said.

"Right away sir!" Edna said and walk out of his office.

Lumabas na ito at sinarado ang pinto he continued what he's doing .

'So many papers to sign on!' Ani niya sa kaniyang sarili.

After a minute Edna came back with a cup of coffee she put it on his table

"Here's your coffee sir! Anything else sir?" Edna ask her.

"Thank you again Edna, nothing at the moment, I will just call you at the intercom if I have something to say you can go now" Sandrex said.

Lumabas na ito ulit ng opisina ni Sandrex. Humigop muna ito ng kape at sumandal sandali sa swivel chair niya humarap siya sa bintana at nakatanaw sa labas.

"I missed them, hope they're doing fine"

Bulong niya sa sarili habang nakatingin pa rin sa labas at humigop ulit ng kape. Nang matapos siya ay binaba na niya ang tasa sa table niya at nagsimula ng mag type sa laptap niya.

It's already 5 in the afternoon and office hours is over time to go home and take some rest.

Kumatok si Edna at pumasok sa opisina ni Sandrex.

"Excuse me sir, would you like to go with us tonight? Sarah is inviting us to her apartment, it's her birthday today sir!" Edna ask him.

"Oh? thank you for the invite but I can't go, I'm sorry I feel exhausted today but do enjoy the birthday party and tell Sarah that I will give her gift tomorrow morning okay?" Sandrex said.

"O-okay sir, we will go now sir, bye! " Edna said.

Lumabas na ito at sinarado ang pinto

Di talaga siya mahilig sa mga party mas gusto pa niyang umuwe, kumain or manuod ng movie mag isa at ipahinga ang sarili mas gusto niya ang tahimik na surroundings.

Inayos na niya ang mga gamit at lumabas na din ng opisina nagdiretso na siya sa elevator at pinindot ang ground floor. Pagkababa niya ay nagtungo na siya sa sasakyan niya kapapalit lang niya ulit ng bagong sasakyan last na car niya ay black BMW but he replaced it with ford raptor ewan niya paranng natipuhan niya lang ang specs ng sasakyan na yon.

Binuksan na niya ang pinto niyon at sumakay na sa loob he fasten his seatbelt at nagsimula ng magdrive, time to go home!

Pagkarating niya sa bahay niya ay naligo na agad siya he's a very organized person, gusto niya malinis lahat sa paningin niya. Hindi naman siya germaphopic pero gusto niya lang talaga na naka ayos at malinis ang lugar

Wala din naman siyang masasabi sa sarili niya dahil talaga namang gwapo siya! And di rin siya pahuhulin sa kagandahan ng katawan with his heigh of 6'1 ay napaka tangkad niya talaga! Well proportion ang katawan and it's to die for!

Maraming nagkakagusto sa kaniya but he got no time for that the only thing that matters to him are work and going home after!

Nakatapos na siya maligo at kumuha ng white t-shirts at pajama sa walk in closet niya he went to the kitchen and cook some lasagna in the microwave after that he went on a sofa and put on the television

Ah! This is the life! Peacefull

Introvert kase talaga siya kaya mas gusto niyang mag isa at tahimik.

Nanunuod na siya ng news habang kumakain. At ganun na lang ang gawa niya everyday. Ayaw niya mag party or clubbing dahil ayaw niya ng maingay.

Habang nanunuod siya ng palabas sa tv ay napapapikit na siya, parang hinhila na siya ng antok, so he got up and went upstairs,

He opened the door to his room and go lay on his bed!

Tutulog na talaga siya ng biglang tumunog ang cellphone niya na nasa bed side table, kinuha niya iyon at tiningnan kung sinong poncio pilato ang nang abala sa kanya.

Nakita niyang ang kuya Serge niya ang tumatawag, dali dali niya itong sinagot,

"Yes, hello kuya? Do you even know that it's already 9 o'clock in the evening here in New York? Make sure that what you're about to say is so important that you need to disturb my sleep!" Inaantok na ani ni Sandrex.

"Oh I'm sorry my little brother! I forgot! but kidding aside, I just wanted to know if you're still ok and breathing! You're not calling me this past few weeks, so I got worried" Serge said.

"Is that it kuya? You know the hustle here in New York, I've been occupied lately by my work that I forgot to call you, and yes! I'm still breathing and walking fine!" Sandrex said.

"Ok if you say so, chineck lang kita bro! Tiyaka pinakakamusta ka ni mama at papa" Serge said.

"Tell them I'm fine, and I missed them so much!" Sandrex said.

"What about me?? Did you not miss me?" Serge ask and laughing.

"Yeah! And also you kuya! So do you have anything more to say? Coz I want to go sleep again" Sandrex sleepily said.

"Ahm wala na bro! Just chillax okay? Why don't you go and have some fun sometimes? Di ka ba nabobored sa loob ng bahay mo? Bring some girls, do naughty things! Enjoy your life! You cannot bring it back anyway!" Serge said.

"No! I'm not like you kuya! I am not a womanizer!

Besides, my happiness lies here in my house! Watching tv, laying on the sofa! Cooking for my self! And many more! So why do I need those other stuff in my life huh?" Sandrex manly said to his brother over the phone.

"Tatanda kang binata pag ganyan ka bro! Tingnan mo ko, I enjoy my life and my youth! Having fun with the girls, go clubbing every night! Bringing some girls to our hotel! It was really fun though! You should try it too!" Serge enjoy teasing his brother.

"Oh! Stop that nonsense! You know what kuya? I wish makahanap ka na ng katapat mo! So that you will stop doing that unnecessary things! And mind you! Women are crazy! Once you join their company it will never end there! So it's a big no for me!" Sandrex said.

"Ok ok! go back to sleep na bro! Would you like me to read you a bed time stories so you can sleep peacefully? Or do you want me to sing you a lullaby?" Serge still teasing his brother.

"Back off you assh*le! I will drop this call now! Tell mama and papa what I told you okay? Don't forget! Bye kuya kong babaero!" Sandrex laughingly said.

"Huh? ok good bye kapatid kong introvert!" Serge said.

Pinatay na niya ang tawag at bumalik na ulit sa pagkakahiga sa kama niya. Namimiss na talaga niya ang mga ito. Kelan pa ba siya huling umuwe ng pilipinas? It's been years! Namimiss niya din ang villa kung saan siya lumaki at nagka isip.

Maswerte pa rin siya dahil kahit anak siya ng papa niya sa ibang babae ay di siya tinuring na iba ng mama Clarita niya. Minahal siya nito na parang tunay na anak, wala din siyang problema sa kuya niya, dahil tunay na magkapatid talaga ang turingan nila.

Naanakan kase ng papa nila ang biological mother niya, but after he gave birth to Sandrex he told her family to give Sandrex to Don Roman his biological father, kaya napapunta siya sa villa Del Fuego! And the rest is history!

Muli siyang pumikit at pinatay na ang ilaw tanging lampshade na lang ang bukas at nagsisilbing liwanag sa kwarto niya,

Masaya na siya sa buhay niya, but lately he feels kind of empty inside, like there's something missing, something he needs to find that will fill that emptiness, and that's just crazy!

Nakatulog na si Sandrex sa isiping yun,

Pinarada na niya ang sasakyan sa parking lot sa basement, pumasok na siya sa loob at sumakay ng elevator. His office is at the upper floor of this building! When it stop he walk over and still his the first person here, the cubicles are still empty, even his secretary is not here yet.

He went straight to his office and open his laptop right away.

He check his email and there it is! The beginning of a never ending work!

He look at the clock and it's already 7:30, isa isa ng nagdadatingan ang mga empleyado.

*Tok!*tok*tok*

"Can i come in sir?" Edna asked outside of his office.

"Yes Edna come in" Sandrex said while his still typing.

"Good morning sir ahm, sir Sandrex may gusto po sana akong sabihin" Edna said.

Napatigil siya sa pag checheck ng mga email at napatingin siya dkay Edna.

"What is it Edna?" Sandrex asked.

"I'm planning to resign sir!" Edna said.

"What?? Are you serious Edna? Why are you resigning? Are you having problems at the company?" Sandrex asked

"No, no sir! That's not the problem here, I'm planning to get married and settle down sir, you know that I work for you for 5 years now sir, but I came to a point in my life that I feel like, I need to build my own family sir!" Edna said to his boss.

"I don't know what to say to you Edna, bakit biglaan yata yang plano mo? Sure ka na ba sa gagawin mo? Do you want me to pay you double? Para di ka lang mag resign? Coz you know as you say you've been working for me for 5 years, and mahirap na ulit maghanap ng bago na mapagkakatiwalaan!" Sandrex said.

"I'm so sorry sir, but my decision is final, but don't worry sir,I still working for you for two more months until you found your new Secretary sir" Edna said

"And where do you think I will find a new one?" Sandrex asked her.

"I already have one sir! I have a cousin in the Philippines sir, she's good like me! And trustworthy also!" Edna said.

"So you really are leaving huh? Ok Edna kung buo na ang desisyon mo so be it, karapatan mo yan, but make sure that the one who will replace you is better than you! Understood?" Sandrex said.

"Yes sir! Thank you sir, I will go now, do you want coffee sir Sandrex?" Edna asked him.

"Yeah sure! Thanks!" Sandrex said.

Lumabas na ito ng opisina niya at naiwan naman siyang namomroblema ngayon. Panibagong adjustment at training na naman para sa bagong magiging sekretarya niya.
