LOGAN’S POV

“I wasn’t talking to you, Amber,” I said with a straight face.

The cold breeze of the evening blew out dried up leaves from the contable trees in the compound of the palace. It was quite windy that evening. It looked like it was going to rain.

“If you weren’t talking to me, then who were you talking to? Because the last time I recalled…we were the only people here!” She yelled angrily.

I’m only letting all this yelling slide just because she’s carrying my son. If it were someone else…

I tightened my fist to my thoughts.

“What are you thinking about? Aren’t you going to answer my question?” She asked.

I pulled Gertrude’s head from behind and placed it next to Amber.

“Arghhh!!” She kicked his head away out of fear, but thankfully, the string on my waist that was connected to his head stopped him from getting to the ground.

“Why are you so frightened? Weren’t you aware that I bought him to the palace?” I asked.

“I was wrong to call her nice. This wolf is scarier than you!” Ge
