AMBER’S POV

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. I struggled and managed to sit up. Other than the position I slept, last night went really well. I enjoyed the ball. I danced until I became exhausted, my only hindrance during the ball was Hannah. She wouldn’t let me dance as I like. I noticed something about the grumpy alpha. He was present at the ball but it looks like he wasn’t present. It was like he wasn’t in the mood for partying. If I were to say this to anyone, they would have called me a mad person because of the appearance and the behavior of the alpha. He’s always cold, silent, and no one seems to know what’s always going on in his mind. But I felt that he wasn’t his usual cold hearted self. It was clear that something was bothering him.

‘Ding dong,’ the doorbell rang.

“Who is it?” I asked with a puzzled look on my face.

“Hannah,” she answered.

“Come in!” I yelled.

She entered the room with my breakfast and a glass of grape juice.
