Chapter 64.

AMBER’S POV

I opened my eyes only to see a bright light. I quickly shut them back because of the brightness of the light. I slowly opened my eyes this time, adapting to the brightness.

I looked to my left and then to my right and figured out that I was in my room, laying on the bed. The only thing I could remember was that Hannah and I were having chocolate and then suddenly I fainted. I looked around the room but I couldn’t find a trace of chocolate. Not just a trace, I couldn’t even perceive that sweet smell.

It all seemed like a dream but I still felt that it wasn't. As I struggled to sit up right, I felt a big bang in my head. This was more than a headache. It felt as if I was being hammered but from within. I managed to bear the threatening headache as I sat up.

I sighed heavily as I placed my hand on my belly, slowly caressing it.
