*First Person's Perspective*

~Enise~

“Is this strawberry flavored?" As soon as the spoon got into my mouth, I paused

“Yes, it's Miracle's favorite" Marcus answered. I said nothing as I watched the way they both stared at me. Almost as though they were waiting for something to happen. I nodded my head and said

“Interesting choice" I couldn't believe that he would do such a thing. He knew that I was allergic to strawberries yet, he made me eat them

Was this a plot? He wanted to be sure if I was really someone else? *Scoffs*

This is not the way to find out. He would have to do significantly more than just this

I had thought that I was able to convince him at the hospital, clearly Marcus thought otherwise and must have led him to believe that I was lying or something

Dinner was over in a flash and I went over to my bedroom. I locked the door behind me and rushed into the bathroom to throw up

I was still severely allergic to Strawberries, but somehow during those times when I underwent series of surgeries, I became a bit tolerable. My system could hold it in for while before finally rejecting it

When I came out of the bathroom, I felt a presence in the room. Was someone watching me?

I turned around

Maybe there was a Camera planted somewhere in here. I looked around the ceiling till my neck started to hurt, but I didn't find anything suspicious

I decided to put that at the back of my mind and just go to sleep, but as I lay on the bed, I still felt the presence

“Who's there?" I asked but got no response

“Why don't you show your face to me? Don't be a coward. Show yourself" I said to the empty room

I climbed out of the bed and walked around the room. “You better show yourself before I fish you out myself” I said as I continued to walk around

When I turned over to the bed side stool, I found a paper

*I know your secret*

The paper read. Now it was confirmed. There was indeed someone in here and they were on to me. A witch maybe

“You do not know anything. Now leave and don't you ever come back here cause if you do, I'm going to kill you” I siad through gritted teeth as I shredded the peice of paper

Another one appeared on the bed side stool again, I picked it up.

* I am going to expose your little secret. I'm going to tell Lucas and Marcus everything about you*

“I will not warm you for the second time. Leave” I said, my voice firm. I know what they were trying to do. They were trying to scare me. But I will not give in to what they want, I will never give them the satisfaction that they want

I heard the leaves rustled outside the window. They were gone. I sank on the bed and breathed out a sigh of relief. I grabbed my cell phone immediately and dialed Lucian's phone number

He didn't pick up. I dialed the number again and he picked up on the third ring

“Lucian. What took you so long to answer?" I asked as soon as the line connected

“I'm sorry, I was in the bathroom" He said and I sighed

“How are things going over there?" I was about to answer when a knock came on my door

“Come in" I said. The door creaked open and Marcus walked in. I pulled the cell phone away from my ear and adjusted myself on the bed

“Mr. Marcus” I called out. He stared at me for a while. " Can I sit? “ He asked and I nodded

" Sure” I said, gesturing at the couch at the other end of the room

"You can come clean to me. I already know” He said

I gave a short laugh. “What are you talking about?" I asked acting clueless

“I know that you're Enise. You don't have to lie or hide your identity. No body's going to hurt or harm you. We've all come back to our senses, we are willing to have you back as part of the family. You don't need this guise" He said

I stared at him, genuinely dumbfounded. I didn't even know what to say

He really had the nerve to say that to me. To act like I was begging to be a part of the family? What family to begin with?

They really are full of themselves aren't they, they don't think that they did me wrong. Actually, I think, he feels like he's doing me a favor by saying this

I laughed again. “I honestly have no idea what you're talking about, Mr Marcus. I thought I already cleared the air on that? Why are you still pressed about it? I am not your Alpha's late wife. Stop making me feel weird" I said and he waved dismissively

“Cut the crap, Enise. Just come clean. I know you might feel angry and bitter about what happened in the past, but we really meant no harm at all"

“Seriously, you're starting to creep me out. I am not Enise. My name is Denise. Denise Richards. I have a mother and a father and two siblings. I grew up in New Jersey. You can search me up if you like, go over there and ask my parents and siblings if you like. If that's what's going to make you happy. For goodness sake" I didn't yell, but you could tell from my tone that I was getting angry

“You bet I will, I am going to look you up. I need to be sure" he stood up and was ready to leave

“Wait! This Enise you talk about. What was she like? Did she commit a crime against your pack? Was she exiled? What happened?" I asked and he huffed. “If you're Enise, then you already know and if you're not, then I don't think you need to know" He responded and walked out of the room

I waited for a while to make sure he was really gone before I raised the phone back to my ear

“Was that Marcus?" Lucian asked and I sighed frustratedly

“Yeah it was. He really is convinced that I'm Enise. What do I do?" I asked

If he continued like this, then surely he would find out something and blow up my cover. I needed to do something real quick

“Don't worry about him. Let him look you up, it's not like he's going to find anything" Lucian said but I still wasn't settled. “Do you think he would stop there? What if he continues to dig? For some reason, he doesn't want to believe m just like Lucas has. I don't know what to do with him" I complained. There was silence for a while

“Should we eliminate him? He looks like he's going to be a problem to us" He asked and I shook my head

“No Lucian. We are not here to kill anyone, remember? We just want to make them regret kicking us out and doing us wrong, that's all" I said and he sighed

“What do you suggest we do then? I don't want my plans to get ruined, Enise. We have to do something about him" he said and I thought for a while

“Right now, I have no idea what to do, but let's just wait and see. If he comes back again, then we'll eliminate him, and I don't mean, Killing him Lucian. There are other ways to eliminate someone" I made sure to clarify and he chuckled

“Of course, what ever you say, Enise" He answered

“We have a much bigger problem" I said

“A problem? We've not even started yet and we're already having problems?"

“I know, but it's not like we could avoid it anyway" I answered

“What's the matter?"

“I think someone is on to us. Someone knows what we're up to" I said

“That's not possible, did you tell anyone about our plans?"

“Yes, Lucian. I told the whole world about it" I responded sarcastically and rolled my eyes

“Well, what would have had me ask? I don't think it's possible for anyone to know if you didn't tell them" he said defensively

“Please don't add to my problems okay? I don't know who it is. Maybe it's a witch. I don't know, but they've refused to show themselves to me. But I could feel their eyes on me yesterday and today, I felt their presence. We even talked and they said that they're going to reveal my secret to Lucas"

I filled him in

“That's unusual. I would have Clarissa look into it. Don't panic okay?" He tried to calm me down

“When will you be coming down here? We shouldn't waste any more time" I asked

“I'll be on my way tomorrow. You know I have to make preparations. I can't just barge in without proper planning and preparations" He answered and I nodded

“Sure. I'll be expecting you tomorrow, then" I said

“What about the child? I mean your daughter" he asked and I heaved a deep sigh

“She's alright. She's a really sweet little angel" I answered with a smile

“Just like you" He said and I chuckled

“She's strong and determined to over come her struggles and set backs. I'm determined to help her. I can't wait till I can finally have her all to myself. When she would finally call me mommy" I said, tears trickling down my eyes

“Soon, Enise. Soon. All of this would be over soon"

“We haven't even started" I joked and we both laughed

“I know, but it wouldn't take time would it? If everything goes according to plan, then in a month, we would be done and over with it" He responded and I nodded

“True. Anyways, I have to go now. See you tomorrow and don't keep me waiting, Okay?"

“Yes ma'am. Good night" he said and the line got disconnected

The door swung open

“I knew it" Marcus said, pointing an accusing finger at me
