Mia's POV

My heart skipped a beat.

Did he find out that I was helping Veronica cheat? No, it couldn't be. He was probably just joking.

I tried to calm my nerves and forced a smile, “I'm just curious what will be tested during the Luna selection. Maybe I should learn that too.”

I said it casually, trying to hide my true intentions.

But Draven just said coolly, “You don't need to learn, it won't be of any use to you.”

I froze, feeling like a bucket of ice water had been poured over me.

What did he mean by that?

Did he mean I didn't need to learn anything because I would never get a chance to be his Luna?

Or was it because I didn’t belong to this upper-class society, so learning those manners and knowledge was pointless?

“What is on your mind?” His voice came from above me.
