Mia's POV

He cursed under his breath.

I trembled, trying to apologize to him, but in my dizziness, I threw up again.

“Raise your heard.” He supported my head with one hand and shone his phone's flashlight into my eyes. “Don’t look away.”

I shivered in the blinding light, mumbling, “S-Sorry…”

“Mild concussion,” he concluded, putting away his phone. “Are you always this quick to apologize? If I remember correctly, I was the one who hit you.”
