Mia’s POV

“Draven!” Camille exclaimed.

I almost cried with joy—Draven! He came to save me!

More footsteps coming close, soldiers and servants appeared in the dense forest.

Camille's maid, Laura screamed and rushed to hug Camille, crying, “My lady! What happened to your hand?”

Draven threw his bow to the ground and walked quickly over, glaring at Camille. “I saw you attacking Mia. Are you out of your mind?!”

Camille cradled her bleeding hand, her evil expression from earlier replaced by one of pity and innocence.

“D-Draven, you arrived just in time!” she sobbed. “If it weren’t for you, I might have died...”
