Chapter 36: Camille's lie

Mia’s POV

I was roughly dragged out of my room, held up by two maids, heading downstairs.

We passed by many people along the way, but they only watched silently with mocking looks. No one stepped forward to stop them.

This only confirmed that Draven was the one who ordered to have me thrown out of my room.

He had indeed grown tired of me.

It happened even faster than I had thought. I hadn’t even helped Veronica become his Luna, nor had I found out anything about my mother.

If Draven were to kick me out of here tomorrow, I would have nowhere to go.

I was finally thrown into a dark storage room, and they locked the door from the outside.

There were some dirty rags on the ground. I crawled over and wrap them around myself, but I was still shivering from the cold.

The damp ceiling was leaking, and I opened my mouth to catch the dripping water.

Then I passed out again from the high fever.
