Book Two: Branch Seventy Seven

As the plane touched down at the airport Jeanne was giddy.

"I can't remember the last time I had a cause to visit Aurora Hills" she said with joy hidden in her voice.

"I have never been here before" Aletta said and Jeanne's head whipped to her.

"I will make sure you have the best time ever," Jeanne said with joy. "Take this as your vacation, don't even think of trying to work for Joshua" she said and Aletta nodded.

She knew she was here for the party but she had to pretend to be working so as not to be caught by his family.

"I doubt that would work but I look forward to it" Aletta lied. She needed to try her best to keep up the facade or else she would be discovered before the end of the day.
