Book Two: Branch Eighty

Joshua held his cheeks as he watched her run into the house. He smiled brightly. Oh well, he was asking for a hug but even got something better instead. He stood up and dusted his trousers before walking into the house.

He climbed the stairs ever so slowly, he knew the week was about to become a long one. Joseph was very much like his father Jason and did ever in his power to have fun. Andrew and Joshua were always very exhausted whenever they had to spend time with him.

"Where were you?" Joshua heard a voice from behind him as he pushed the door to his room open. He turned back to see a bright smile on Joesph's face with Andrew and Anette beside him.

"Outside working with my secretary" he replied.

"So why is that huge ass smile on your face and why didn't you work inside?" Joseph asked.

"What smile?" Joshua asked trying his best to keep a straight face but it was impossible considering what he had gone through today.

"Is work fun these days?" Anette asked trying to get answers out
