Book Two: Branch Seventy Nine

Aletta and Joshua spent the next two hours outside talking. Aletta was at rest knowing that Jeanne would likely not look for her because it was nothing weird to work for two hours.

None of them would have been able to pinpoint exactly what it was that they were talking about. They seemed to be able to put themselves out there as they spoke about everything and anything.

"It's getting late," Aletta said with a yawn.

"It's not getting late, it's already late" Joshua said showing her the time on his phone.

"Oh my god, we have spent two hours already?" Aletta gasped holding his forearms so tightly in a squeeze.

"Yes, we have" Joshua replied amused by her expression.

"We better get in so we can get some sleep" Aletta said with a yawn again.

"I guess you do need sleep, you have been yawning nonstop since" he commented and she became so self-conscious. "I wish we could spend a little more time out here" he added and she glared at him.
