Book Two: Branch Eighty Four

Aletta felt her throat grow dry as she turned and tossed in bed. She felt an obstruction as she tried to move her body. Her mind was not quick to translate to her that she was still in the same bed as Joshua. Her eyes fluttered open as she saw him lying there beside her.

She took a glance at his face trying to soak in the beauty of his face. She shifted a bit to get her phone so she could know the time. Her eyes widened as she noticed it was a few minutes after noon. She tried to free herself from his grip but it became tighter.
