Book Two: Branch Seventy Four

Aletta had not expected those words from his mouth and to be honest they did ignite a few butterflies in her stomach. She cleared her throat and pushed him off of her.

"Time to go" she said pushing him out the door. The can she had called for him was already waiting outside the door so he hurried into it and then slipped into it. So as not to expose himself further he told the car to drop him somewhere around his house and Jack was going to get him up from there.

"I can not believe you actually spent the night out of the house. You were always such a good and model example." Jeanne said shaking her head as her brother walked into the kitchen.

"Why? I like it. It seems like my son is finally growing up" Jessica said closing the refrigerator and turning to face him.

"So when are you going to introduce her to us?" Jessica followed up with the question.

"Whenever she is ready" Joshua said taking up a glass from the counter and walking to the refrigerator.
