The second I walked out of the room, the smile on my face dropped, revealing a deep scowl. My footfalls heavy, I walked out of the underground section where I placed Katrina in, into the main section of the mansion. The opulent decorations and lavish furnishings seemed to mock me, a stark contrast to the darkness brewing inside me.

There, I found Arthur already waiting for me, an half smile on his face. He was always eager to know the details of my dealings, especially when it came to women. "So... How did your conversation go?" He asked as he fell into step with me, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.

The bad feeling in my body intensified, but I knew Arthur wouldn't leave me alone if I didn't give him a satisfactory answer to his question.
