I have nothing to pack. I own nothing. And it would have been easy to escape. But I told Marina, and she screamed so loud she almost ratted me out. I immediately regretted my decision, here and there.

“You know what Marina? I now regret ever confiding in you about my plan.” I glared holes at her face, hosting myself away from the wall I was leaned on, I ran my fingers into my hair as I paced uncontrollably.

“Why? Because you were almost caught? I know you’re not in your right senses right now. Abuse me all you want but I won’t let you leave and I will willingly call the guards on you if you try to escape behind my back too.” She remained unfazed.

I know she means everything she’s saying. Five minutes ago when she yells in utter disbelief as I told her of my plan, two guards had bounced in and with so much whispers in persuasion, she succumbed and lied to them it was nothing.

I won’t be so surprised if she decided not to take my back this time.
