One week gone and nothing has happened.

He hasn’t been home but arrived last night, and to my dismay, not a word came from his mouth when he saw me walk past. Or maybe he has nothing to say to me. Perhaps, I’m free. Just like that?

“He’s not stopping you from coming out of the room. Trust me, I already pleaded with him and I’m certain you have nothing to do with what happened any more. You’re really going to keep staying indoor?” I struggled to convince Marina who has had her head shoved under the bed sheet for the past thirty minutes now.

Only when she’s certain of Derek’s departure in the morning would she step out of the room. She’s scared and I’m not going to blame her.
