Although my blood boiled for the fact he seems to be hiding something from me. Something that’s important but he wouldn’t say to me, or reveal.

“Unfortunately, you have no right to question me.” He gritted out, snapping at me and that was the end for that night.

No one had to tell me before I left him alone. He needs his privacy and I’m not about to argue that with him.

The next morning, I watched as Derek's eyes flicked lazily over the plates before him, his hands resting motionless on the table, whereas Eva hovered anxiously nearby, wringing her hands nervously as she watched him reject the first meal, then another.

Somehow, the aromas wafting from the dishes did nothing to stir his appetite. I know he shouldn't see me here, but I was bored. And this is fun. I rephrase, he's fun to watch.
