The smile on my face spreaded wider when I saw the look of displeasure on Derek’s face. I didn’t plan to come and use the dinning, the house was becoming more boring and I thought I could use some fun.

And I wasn’t wrong.

Seeing the hostile way he glared at me from across the table, I knew together was going to be a good day.

“We have been served. Let’s eat.” I announced to him, picking up my fork and even after I was done and looked up, his glare didn’t waver.

His fists clenched against the table’s edge and I smiled, in pleasure.

“Can I start eating then?” I wagged one of my brows and when he didn’t speak, I thought it was cool and brought up a spoonful of the pasta up my mouth but before I could get it in, a hand slammed against the table.

“No one is eating until Katherine arrives.” He spat and I lowered my fork, confused.

“But it’s been fifteen minutes and she isn’t here yet.” As much as I love to see him continue raging, it’s a matter of my stomach and I’m starving
