Chapter Nine
As Rome watched his father and Catherine chatting happily, he remained silent, admiring the bond between the both of them.
A couple of seconds went by. Then a buzzing noise from Catherine's phone caused her to pause and look at its screen, staring at a note reminder.
Feeling a bit sad, she looked back at Mr. Ford and said, "I'm sorry, father, but I have a meeting an hour from now, and I have to leave."
"Of course, let's schedule another breakfast date the next time you are free." Mr. Ford said, staring gently at her.
With a smile on her lips, Catherine nodded happily and said, "Sure."
Then she turned to Rome and gave him a quick kiss before leaving her seat.
A few seconds after Catherine left, Mr. Ford looked at Rome and asked, "How is she handling things at DreamTeam?"
