Chapter Sixteen
There was an awkward silence in the atmosphere as all the guests focused solely on Catherine and Chloe, shocked by the sudden turn of events.
The same dress that Catherine wore, down to every last bit of details of designs, was what Chloe had on, and Catherine found herself speechless as she stared at her cousin.
'You must be kidding me!' Catherine thought, trying to process her feelings.
Then she stared at Mr. Ford, and when she saw how mad he looked, she gently said, "I don't want tonight to get ruined because of my cousin, so how about we ignore this and move on with the night, please."
Although Mr. Ford didn't respond, he decided to respect Catherine's decision and take a step back for the time being.
The quietness in the hall lasted for a couple of minutes. Then whispers began to aroused among the guests.
