2024-10-29 19:42:56At five on the dot, Mr. Orlando brought the car to a stop in DreamTeam parking lot, and then he gazed at Rome in the V-mirror. But he was too focused on his phone to notice his stare.
"Hey, hon. I'm so sorry. But I'm stuck in a meeting right now. Can you please wait in my office for a couple of minutes?" Rome silently read Catherine's text.
Then he messaged her back, "Sure."
Afterward, Rome gazed at K and said, "You don't need to come with me."
Knowing that that was a command, K remained seated as Rome left the car and then gazed through the window as he walked into the building.
A couple of seconds later, Rome entered Catherine's office, and immediately, his eyes grew cold as he screwed his face into a frown.
"What are you doing here!?" Rome firmly asked while he stared at Charles, gazing at him with a smug smile on his face.
