Leo’s POV I heard the loud clatter of a tray landing on the floor. It was so loud that it made Nova and myself startled. The maid let out a scream and ran out of there. We both quickly ran inside only to see Miss Warrior laying there motionless. A few minutes ago she was there standing firmly and asking questions to the maid with the sharp look she always wore. And now she was laying on the ground, limp like a puppet without any string. My breath hitched, as I stood there like I was frozen. My body was not able to move, my mind couldn't make sense of what had just happened. Miss Warrior wasn’t supposed to fall. She has always been strong. She never stood behind but in front of others.

The beast yelped, and I tore at its neck madly with my second blade until it just dropped heavily to the ground, motionless. I felt alive. My heart was pounding, and a wild, exhilarating rush of adrenaline flooded my veins. I truly was born to be a warrior. This was exactly where I belonged. I chanced a quick glance over at the other warriors, really hoping there would be no casualties on our end against these feral beasts, but it turned out to be a futile hope. I looked up and saw a black raven flying over our heads, and suddenly, it dropped something and flew out of the old, faded window. One of the warriors picked it up, “it's a scroll for the Alpha.” He said and then handed it to me. I didn’t hesitate. Immediately, I tore off the envelope; the weight of it felt heavier than steel. My hands shook as I took out the paper. The scroll opened, and the words were like poison, written so coldly and cruelly:

I'm made of sharp edges and vengeance, and I will not crumble. "Eleven years. You should be more informed," I snap. It's a foolish mistake to irritate a Warrior, but I'm tired of being undermined and treated as a disposable toy. He clenches his fists. He's the perfect impersonation of danger, and for the first time, I wonder who exactly I'm dealing with here. "Careful," the word barely escapes his gritted teeth. "We're done here. I will only answer to your Alpha," my voice comes out cold and detached.

I stopped crying after several hours and JD stayed with me the whole time. Before long, the day finally ended. This marked the end of whatever illusion I had of ever being with Adrian and the end of The Decadence of The Fallen as well. We were a band no more after that and the girl who once fell for the "Ice Prince" had given up on trying to melt his frozen heart.

Kate's P.O.V. As I pressed my hand on that warrior’s skin, darkness swallowed me whole. The cold hospital room vanished, replaced by a battlefield drenched in blood. The injured warrior staggered across the ruined courtyard, every breath sounding like broken glass scraping his lungs. His wolf growled fiercely as three rogues surrounded him, attacking at once. Despite his injuries, the warrior refused to retreat. He fought like a man protecting something far more valuable than his own life. Claws collided, and growls shook the air as he managed to throw one rogue into a wall before another ripped across his shoulder.

The remaining abyssal demons became aggressive as the balance of power between the lands got disrupt. A single warrior walked through the road with number on his face. The other warriors muttered as that single warrior passed by. Suddenly, a warrior with a number on his arm confronted the lone warrior. "Hey boy! " The warrior spoke. But the lone warrior did not respond and continued his walk. "Don't ignore me you brat! " The warrior kicked the lone one. The lone warrior fell down to the ground as the confident warrior kicked his back. "You think ignoring me made you cooler? Your just a low rank warrior, I mean the weakest warrior in history! " The confident warrior then laugh as he continue
