Chapter 20Shocking EncounterElena The office was a bustle of movement with people moving back and forth and the odd person answering a ringing phone. My head was spinning as I stared at the computer screen, trying to make sense of the figures. It'd been a few weeks, and I'd been swimming in figures every day. At first, Conor hadn't trusted me with the more detailed and important figures but a few setbacks had forced his hand and he'd given everything to me to proofread. And now?
