Cora Excitement coursed through my veins as I stared at the positive test result. Joy washed over me and for a moment, I forgot about my pain. I wanted to let Liam know that if he only had been patient, he would have gotten what he wanted. "Thank you, Doctor Carol. Thank you." I walked over and embraced her lightly. "You deserve this gift, Luna." She replied. After bidding her farewell, I took a cab back to the pack house. The few staff outside greeted me warmly and with joy in my heart, I replied to them kindly. I wanted to share the news with Flora. She had been the one who had always given me hope. Cora "Do you feel pain anywhere?" She asked me in a frantic tone. At first, I couldn't speak. "Maybe we need to take you to the hospital after all." That was when I snapped back to reality. "I'm fine, I'm fine." I quickly said. I didn't want to go to any hospital. It would bring back the memories that I was trying to bury. The wounds still felt fresh and I didn't know when I started crying. "Oh dear," I heard her walking close to me. The space beside me sank a bit and I felt a hand running across my shoulders. "Whatever the problem is, it will be alright." Her voice was soothing to the soul and in no time, I found myself wiping my tears. "Thank you very much for your generosity. I don't know where I would have been without you." I sniffled lightly as I thanked her. "Might I ask, what were you doing by that time? Didn't you know it was dangerous to be out there alone?" Dante asked as he kept looking at the masked woman. Her nose and mouth were covered, leaving only her eyes. He was pissed off about the whole situation. Jane and Dante had been enemies for quite a while because they were each after the same company. Gadget Co was a tech company whose popularity was over the moon.
