After that meeting, none of them set eyes on each other again for more than a month. Gadget Co had still not gotten back to them and Dante was looking for a way to get Cora out of the way. If only he could get her to drop out on her own.

"What's this idea of yours, Liam?" Dante asked Liam, who sat across from him in his office. He remembered Liam talking about a way of getting the Moore empire to back off.

"It had better be good." His eyes narrowed as he stared at his fidgeting nephew.

Dante had always had this intimidating aura that scared everyone off, except Cora and the few people close to him.

"Well, thinking about it now, it sounds like a dumb idea."

"Spill, Liam," Dante growled impatiently. His guts told him that Cora was going to be picked as the brand ambassador and he needed to do something quick.

"I wanted to say that we should offer them some amount of money or something very enticing. Something better than Gadget Co."
