Eve's POV I remained quiet all through the car ride back to the hotel, fixing my gaze on the setting sun outside the window. Adam's question rang through my head and honestly, I wasn't sure I had an answer.   Would I go back to Tom?  There were so many things to consider. One was, just for how long did Adam plan to help me? Perhaps he was asking the questions because he couldn't help me anymore. Perhaps he was fed up already. Or maybe he just didn't want to have anything to do with me anymore.   He was Tom's Intended business partner afterall.  I pressed my lips tight on contemplation, tired of the many thoughts that flitted through my head.   I had nothing. Adam's POV "Mother?!"  My mother's eyes were fixed in a glare and with a slow hiss, she pushed past me into the room.  What the hell was my mother doing here? How Had she known I was here?! And how did she know what room? Fuck, Eve! Eve was still in the bedroom. If she hadn't finished adjusting her dress then I was fucked.   I rushed after my mother, standing before her, a frown on my face.   "What are you doing here, Mother?"  One minute I had Eve in my hands, bare open and wet enough to send me to the highest heavens. I could still taste her on my tongue. I could still feel her soft plum breasts and that creamy skin against my lips.   If my mother had been a tad too late, I'd probably have been balls deep inside her, twitching and spilling until I had her full and marked as mine.  

ADAM’S POV  My knuckles gripped the steering wheel tightly until they whitened from the pressure. I watched my mother’s car drive up ahead, gritting my teeth in anger.  The scene at the hotel had replayed in my head a gazillion times. I could see it all again, all the anger written all over my mother’s face. I could see the pain in Eve’s eyes when she had slapped her. A growl slipped from my lips at the memory and I slammed my hand on the steering wheel in anger. I had just stood there and watched it happen! I should have done something. I should have foresaw that and protected Eve. Fuck! She had looked so abandoned, so deserted. I hated that. I wanted to be there for her. I wanted to be the one person she could rely on. Tom's POV She looked like a kicked puppy. Standing out there in a rather drab dress. Her hair was tied in a ponytail and her eyes were red.   She had been crying.  For what? I thought in fury. Over her old man's death? That man hadn't cared not one bit about her and she had the audacity to defy me because of him! Such insolence.   I had been with her for ten years. I had bore through her shenanigans and tantrums and made sure to give her the discipline she needed so she could learn her face. Yet it was obvious she would still choose that man over me anytime, any day.   Anger burned through my veins, reminding me of the many reasons why I needed to teach her a lesson.
