A new beginning

Eve's POV

Adam drove into the car park of a rather huge and fancy hotel. It had lights everywhere, making a colorful sight and was a whopping fifteen storey building. If this was any other day, I would have admired the view. But now, I stared blankly at the scenery until Adam turned off the car engine and we got out.  

"Come," He said, placing a hand on my back. 

His hands sent warmth through my whole body. I allowed myself to think about those hands only. Those hands that had touched and stroked and caressed every inch of me. The only hands in which I felt safe. 

God I had missed this. I had missed him. This was probably a wrong time to think about him like that however. He had just come to help me. Without him, I would be stranded like a fish out of water.
