Myra gently knocked on Cody’s office door and sneaked in. She found him in a pensive mood his eyes were closed with hands clasped together facing the ceiling like he was praying while his chin rested against his thumbs. Now the plan was simple, they’d keep Cecil in Witting till they got a fair idea of Rosa’s safety. Cody would make one trip to Witting to follow up on the report with Eileen and during that time Cecil would be taken care of by Myra since Tia was having her time off. Cody’s phone started ringing, he thought it was Nina but when he checked it was Myra. He looked up at Eileen.“I need to take this call, Nina will get suspicious if I don’t answer it” He started to wheel out when Eileen stopped him.“Why can’t you take the call here?” She said.“It’s a video call I’ll take it in the study” he answered and wheeled out. Nina was preparing for a steamy weekend to patch up things with Cody. She shopped for some lingerie, scented candles, perfumes, some fruits, ice cream and all sort of stuff. She came back home feeling proud of herself smiling from ear to ear.
