Chapter 95; Plan B

Cody’s phone started ringing, he thought it was Nina but when he checked it was Myra. He looked up at Eileen.

“I need to take this call, Nina will get suspicious if I don’t answer it” He started to wheel out when Eileen stopped him.

“Why can’t you take the call here?” She said.

“It’s a video call I’ll take it in the study” he answered and wheeled out.

Cody wheeled back into the hall and told Seth to monitor and ensure Eileen wouldn’t come out to eavesdrop.

Cody answered Myra’s called and talked in a low voice “Hello, is everything alright?”

“No, Mr. Whyte he’s getting cranky he wants to go out and he wants to go to mummy, so I’m preparing to take him out to calm him down” Myra responded.

“No!” Cody quickly countered “don’t take him out”

“But why Mr. Whyte? He’s crying and being very bad tempered, the neighbors will think I’ve kidnapped him if I don’t figure a way to quiet him down” Myra said in a frustrated tone.
