Chapter 100; Down to the matter

The phone on the dining table beeped severally but Dylan refused to answer it. He knew it was Cody, he knew he was calling to ask about the progress of the search. Rosa sat beside him staring at him wondering why he was answering the calls, when the call ended he turned to Rosa and said.

“I need to go to the police station and let them know that you have been found, don’t open the door for anyone. I have a spare key” he gave Rosa a kiss on her forehead and went for the phone on the dining table and stepped out.

Rosa’s heart melted at the love and care he always showed her, she didn’t want him to be in danger at all, she feared her return to his house would put him in trouble.

Dylan on the other hand was more than ready to defend Rosa though he had didn’t know her history. He was reluctant to tell Cody that he had found her because he feared Cody wasn’t looking for her for a good reason.
