( Final day of camp) Sylvia's P. O. V Finally the camp came to an end. During the last few days everyone could be seen packing their bags and saying their last goodbyes. ( Next day) Sylvia's P. O. V I woke up very late the next day, my head pounding and my heart heavy. Running a hand through my messed up hair, I looked around and was met with silence. Swallowing the lump in my throat, I let out a shaky breath. I had thought it was all a bad dream and I would wake up and everything would be back to normal. But it's not, my mom really is sick. Breaking down again, I began crying, my face buried in my hands as the tears slipped out. But of course, crying never solved anything. Eventually I'll have to get out of bed and face the reality.
