After properly determining our roles in the Council, I send everyone back to get ready for a party. I, on the other hand, am taking a brief, rare moment to myself while I finish adding things to the building for today's grand opening. I add some simple decorations as well as more chairs and things that we will need.It does not take long for me to finish the decorations. Since nobody is here yet, I venture out to the front of the building facing the witches and add a fountain. This fountain shows a witch befriending a werewolf. On the opposite side, facing the werewolf side, I made the opposite to the first fountain. This one shows a werewolf curling up next to a witch on a field of flowers. By the time that people start to arrive the building is as close to being perfect as I can get it for now. Trying to match up the witch duos with the werewolf trios is proving to be tricky. Hopefully, by separating them according to ages it will prove a little easier. Hazel will, of course, get along with Connor just fine but I am not sure that the same can be said about some of his friends. They were not exactly that open minded when they first found out that he is dating a witch but that has hopefully changed after seeing what she went through at the hands of the Witch's Council.Speaking of the Witch Council, they are all here. They all showed up to watch what we are doing. Simonetta is openly sneering at any werewolf that tries to come close to her. The introduction of the Council went pretty well overall. After the introductions were over we mingled together fairly well. The werewolves tried to get to know the witches a little better and vice versa. While the werewolves are finding it difficult to trust the witches, the witches are definitely finding it difficult to open up after all of the fighting that they caused in the past. Of course, most of it was against their better judgment but that does not change the fact that they did still do it. The Witch Council shot daggers at me for the entire night after introducing a Council of our own. They did not like that they were being looked over by the rest of the witches after that point. They still hold some power over the witches but now the witches also have to answer to the joint Council. That is a new concept that the Witch Council is going to have to accept.
