Looking out across the faces of the pack members, I find myself smiling at them all. It sure does feel good to be home again. Both places are my home but each one represents a different part of me. Even though I am exploring my witch half more and more, this part has always come much more naturally to me.

"I hear you guys had quite the scare last week." I yell to them. When they all nod and chuckle at me I continue, "Well, I think that maybe I should show all of you what happened. This is what will happen to anybody that thinks they can mess with any of you, witch or werewolf!"

They all cheer as I begin my own illusion. Thinking back on that night, I start with my run towards the witch house. They can see me run at a speed that should be impossible to all species. When I go crashing into the house, they all gasp at the following few minutes.

Showing no fear, I barrel into the foyer just to run into the first Council member, Katrin. When I make her back down and walk into their living

    The pack dinner went amazingly. It took most of the night before I felt like I could fully relax but it was well worth it to sit with my pack the entire night. I got a chance to catch up with Amora and the happenings in the pack. I made yet another promise to go and see Scarlett and Ulfred.     I had planned to wake up early the next morning but my body had other ideas after being at Dante's disposal all night. We actually slept through breakfast which is not a feat that I can say I have accomplished often. As soon as I wake, I get dressed and head downstairs to find some food for the two of us. We might as well eat something before we get going with today's plans."Laina, we missed you at breakfast. Is everything okay?"     After we finished breakfast we each went on our own way to get things ready for today. That is how I find myself downstairs, looking for the witches that I am going to need for the day. I know that I need Elle and Rosa but there are a few other elementals that would be useful for the building of the new joint gym.In the end I settle with Ella, Rosa, Hazel, and Sage. There are others that I could use but I do not want too many people without a set plan on how to build it. Making our way towards the boundary, I find that Dante is waiting with Julia, Amora, and Kevin. That will do for what all I have planned today.As soon as we reach the area, we come up with a basic blueprint for what we want to build. Everyone stands back as I begin building alone for the first part. I reach out and grab hold of the Earth. Showing it what I want it to do, I help to guide it into a gigantic stone gymnasium and clubhouse. There are around 10 rooms in it. The biggest one is in the middle and it is the

    After properly determining our roles in the Council, I send everyone back to get ready for a party. I, on the other hand, am taking a brief, rare moment to myself while I finish adding things to the building for today's grand opening. I add some simple decorations as well as more chairs and things that we will need.It does not take long for me to finish the decorations. Since nobody is here yet, I venture out to the front of the building facing the witches and add a fountain. This fountain shows a witch befriending a werewolf. On the opposite side, facing the werewolf side, I made the opposite to the first fountain. This one shows a werewolf curling up next to a witch on a field of flowers. By the time that people start to arrive the building is as close to being perfect as I can get it for now. They all look around in awe at the building that was not there the last time anybody came this way. Heck, it was not here two hours ago. It really surprises the wolves more than it does the

    Trying to think up an obstacle course that both species will need to work together to get through takes a little while. Eventually, we decide to take the original course idea for the werewolves and then add some extra surprises throughout it. Thinking back to when we watched the Harry Potter movies, we might eventually make a maze for them to have to go through as well. That could be entertaining to watch them try to figure out. For now, we add things like rock walls that have no foot holds, hoops to swing across that cannot be reached without elemental or telekinetic powers and even a small lake to swim across that is frozen. It has to be thawed out and actually swam across to make it all of the way across. Everybody stands around and watches us work on the obstacle course. Dante and Kevin constantly give me more ideas on how to make the course more difficult while Julia and Elle help me make the course. It would not be fair for them to try to go through the course since they have

    Trying to match up the witch duos with the werewolf trios is proving to be tricky. Hopefully, by separating them according to ages it will prove a little easier. Hazel will, of course, get along with Connor just fine but I am not sure that the same can be said about some of his friends. They were not exactly that open minded when they first found out that he is dating a witch but that has hopefully changed after seeing what she went through at the hands of the Witch's Council.Speaking of the Witch Council, they are all here. They all showed up to watch what we are doing. Simonetta is openly sneering at any werewolf that tries to come close to her. Carlina and Viola are both imitating her to varying degrees although it is obvious that Carlina is not as disgusted by being around werewolves as the other two.Safiya is sadly avoiding eye contact with the male that she has been seeing. I had hoped that by her coming here she would find a way to open up some more but it is entirely possibl

    Once the new Council members are gathered, I clear my throat to grab everyone's attention. The Council members line up behind me with the Witches on one side and the werewolves on the other. Instead of them choosing the side that their own species is more specifically gathered on, they decide to stand on the opposite sides. Hopefully, this will show that they are open to working with each other and both species on a regular basis."Thank you all for coming here today. I hope that you had fun with the obstacle course. We have been using these courses for quite a while when it comes to training. I am glad that we were able to share that with everyone here." I tell them all at large. "Now, we have had a lot of changes lately. These changes have all presented new difficulties.     The introduction of the Council went pretty well overall. After the introductions were over we mingled together fairly well. The werewolves tried to get to know the witches a little better and vice versa. While the werewolves are finding it difficult to trust the witches, the witches are definitely finding it difficult to open up after all of the fighting that they caused in the past. Of course, most of it was against their better judgment but that does not change the fact that they did still do it. The Witch Council shot daggers at me for the entire night after introducing a Council of our own. They did not like that they were being looked over by the rest of the witches after that point. They still hold some power over the witches but now the witches also have to answer to the joint Council. That is a new concept that the Witch Council is going to have to accept.     It did not take long at all for the Hybrid Council to arrive. They all file in looking a little shocked to see Simonetta there, unable to use her magic as she floats slightly in the air. Quickly, they find their seats. Then, both Rand and Frank walk in as well. I had not thought of inviting them but I am glad that Dante did.     Simonetta rushes towards me using wind to guide her speed. It is not enough to throw me off guard though and I shove a wall of dirt up in front of me. She almost crashes into it before she is able to skid to a stop at the last second. If she had prepared then she might have been able to use the air that was helping her speed up to me to jump over the wall but instead, she is used to using her other powers for combat and did not make the decision in time.As soon as she begins to stop, I tear down the wall and shift into werewolf form quickly to land on top of her with my teeth to her neck.     As soon as my illsuion drops I see Simonetta's face blanche. Chelsea drops to the ground and has it swallow her up as she falls through it to meet the others. I send her a brief thank you as she helps to keep them all safe from whatever back up plan Simonetta could have.She sends me a sad farewell.     Each team splits up and gets ready to make their way through the obstacle course. They are all going to have to take turns trying to make it through safely. Each team has a designated amount of time before they get elminated. The one that makes it through the fastest and with the least amount of mistakes, will be the ones to win the competition. The course is very similar to the one that we did with the entire pack when we first started training. The one that really got the women moving faster as they fought to make good time through the course to beat the men. This one is just a little more geared towards children and not fully grown adults.Some of the obstacles are smaller to better accomodate their size, some things are closer together and they have even added some new obstacles that would have been difficult for the adults. There are also some obstacles that are going to require teamwork to make it through. If they do not work together then they have no hope of making it to the

    It takes much longer than planned to get the babies ready for travel. I have never packed a diaper bag before but luckily Scarlett shows up to help me get them ready and squeal over the twins for a minute.     The first night with the babies was quite a bit of a learning curve. Whenever we put them in their bassinets they just started to cry nonstop until we picked them up again. It took a couple of hours to find out that if we put them into the same bassinet they were able to sleep peacefully and not wake us up. By the time we managed learning that, I was beyond exhausted and ready to sleep.     Chelsea comes running in once the babies start to cry for food. Her face is filled with excitement as she rushes over to me. Even though they are hungry, I allow her to hold and rock Caterine while I first feed Archer.
