Chapter Twenty

Gabriel "Ask the lady if a Felicity Walters lives in apartment thirty-two, Mother," Gabriel ordered as they stood in front of the landlady. "And tell her we're her family." Gabriel and his mother went to the address Angel's friend gave him and now they stood at a fancy place with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. His mother turned to the older lady with a forced smile. "Est-ce que Felicity Walters habite ici ? Nous sommes une famille et nous aimerions visiter." The older lady looked at Gabriel's mother sceptically before shrugging. "La fille étrangère ? Oui, elle vivait ici." "N'est-elle plus là?" "Oui, elle ne habite plus ici. Elle a quitté il ya deux jours." The woman shrugged and then continued with what she was she was doing before Gabriel and his mother interrupted her. "What did she say," Gabriel

Chapter Twenty-One

Madeline Madeline always hated meetings, they were terribly boring; too much talking and not enough play. Madeline liked things so much better when there was screaming of dying wolves, bones shattering and blood pouring. However, as for now, she stood upon a steel throne inside her castle where four of her most powerful generals kneel before her, informing her of new followers. "Gia, the leader of the Eastern coven, has agreed to follow your Highness and has sent her most powerful Witches to your aid. Kiara, the leader of the Northern coven, has also agreed to follow you and send you more Witches," one reported. "Good," Madeline sighed. "Any reports back from the dog," she asked, referring to her newly acquired spy, Lu. "He says his Alpha and Luna still have their family over from Canada, but their guards are down. He is working on getting them to hold a meeting so all the known Alpha's will be

Chapter Twenty-Two

Angelica   After Dmitri's friend, Max, barged in upon Dmitri and me, we now sit in a large sitting room with Dmitri explaining everything to Max. I could tell Max was surprised that Witches attacked me, but seemingly more surprised to find out I was pregnant. He didn't seem against it but shocked. "Why would a pair of Witches be after you?"   I shrugged. "I don't know," I mumbled as I remembered the second Witches words rang in my mind. "I shall let you go this time, but he will be mine. His power will be mine." I wondered if she was talking about Dmitri, but if she wanted his power wouldn't she'd have gone after Dmitri rather than me?   "What is on your mind, my Angel?" Dmitri's voice caught my attention.   "Just something that the Witch said the night she attacked."   "What'd she say," Max asked.   I sighed. "She said something abo

Chapter Twenty-Three

Gabriel His snout to the ground, sniffing around the grassy plain, eager to find his woman. He knew he was getting closer and closer; the pull becoming stronger and stronger. At the back of his mind, echoes of rationality were being buried under his primal instincts of his wolf spirit, his strong impulses clouded his human reasoning and he succumbed to his fiery ambition to find Angel, his mate. He was losing himself, his wolf spirit vanquishing his human, stable and cerebral side and there was nothing he could do to stop it, even if he wanted to stop it. All he could think about, all that was imprinted into his mind, was the thoughts and images of his mate, his woman, in bed with another man. Her betrayal was burning his heart and all he wanted was to take her back and punish her, make her feel the way he has felt. Suddenly the pull became painful and he knew that he was very close and when he

Chapter Twenty-Four

Nina She had hoped her precious, but idiotic son would be patient, however here she looked on from a distance, watching her son as he himself watched the small little house in the far distance. Nina knew that that was where his mate resided, happy and content in the company of another man, the future King to be exact. This wasn't Nina's plan, following her son here. No. Nina wanted to wait until they were moving Angelica to the Sanctuary, that way Nina and Gabriel had the upper hand, a surprise attack. But her son had to be an impatient fool and track her down here, waiting. It wasn't likely that the future King would ever leave her side unless they were getting ready to move her to the damned Sanctuary - all in all, this was a waste of time. They wouldn't move her until she was at least five or six months into the pregnancy they still had about two to three months to prepare, coordinate, and make a proper plan. Nin

Chapter Twenty-Five

Madeline The pregnant werewolf is finally in my grasps, Madeline thought with twisted glee as she pranced and danced around her throne room. Her long, black flowing dress danced around her ankles as she twirled her body around when she heard a voice interrupt her. "Your Highness," it was her new General, Lily. "There is someone here to see you," she explained as she bowed her her dancing Queen. "Oh?" Madeline questioned as she continued dancing. "Who is it this time?" "A man by the name of Edmond, Your Highness. He says he wishes to...court you, my Queen." Madeline stopped dancing, her back to Lily. There was a worrying pause - all of the Witches knew that Madeline disliked courters, especially since she became so powerful. However, when Madeline turned around to face her General she had an eerie smile upon her cold lips. "Bring him in," she ordered Lily.&nb

Chapter Twenty-Six

Sara Valentine   The beat of the remix song annoyed Sara as she waited for her drinks at the bar, ignoring the horrible smell of body odour, many perfumes and mixed alcoholic drinks filled her nose and the stench of it all almost made her gag however she kept it all in and smiled as the bartender handed her the drinks she asked for. "Thanks!" she shouted over the music and she made her way to her table. Walking to her table she heard the all too familiar cat-calling and remarks on her beauty and, as she usually did, she chose to ignore them but grinned at her four friends that mocked the men at their futile attempts. "Here you go, ladies! Drink up!" And her friends downed their drinks with somewhat ease but before Sara could drink hers she felt her phone vibrate and when she looked at the caller ID she was very surprised to see her fathers name on the screen. She excused herself to the outside balcony before answering her father's call.

Chapter Twenty-Seven

Dmitri Almost blindly enraged, Dmitri stood in front of Nina Black, unconscious and barely alive and tied to a chair and he waited for to wake up to interrogate her even though it took every fibre in his being not to snap her neck and rip out her spine through her sternum. Clenching his fists, he awaited patiently for her to open her eyes. Dmitri's thoughts were interrupted by Max's intolerable snickering. Rolling his eyes, Dmitri called out to him. "What do you want, Max," Dmitri sighed. "Nothing, really," Max chuckled. "I still think it's hilarious how this all happened, don't you? The one person that could help us find Angel and she literally falls at our feet." Max shook his head and chuckled. Dmitri admired this about Max; even in the worst of situations he is able to keep his light hearted spirit alive and amuse Dmitri, even when he doesn't feel like it. It's why they got along so well. Soon Dmitri and Max's i

Chapter Twenty-Eight

Lu The Alpha stared at Lu, a burning glaze in his eyes as they changed from blue the smouldering red, a letter and Garcia's journal on the table which stood between them. Lu pretended to look guilty, though in his heart he was laughing. "What do have to say for yourself, Beta Lu," the Alpha growled, tapping the letter angrily. "No words," Lu whispered, "can tell you how sorry I am, Alpha." In truth, Lu couldn't care less. "Angel was desperate, no one could think of a way out for her. She believed this was her only option." His Alpha slammed a fist on the table, growling. "Running away, leading everyone to believe she died in that fire? That fire could have spread and hurt, or killed, someone else!" "Forgive me, Alpha." Go rot in hell, Lu thought cynically. "All right," the Luna spoke up finally. "We need to discuss these issues in a calm and rat

Carla Carla was sitting on her bed holding her knees up to her chest with her arms wrapped around her legs when she heard a faint knock on the door, looking up she saw her mother standing in the doorway, eyes red and puffy, her cheeks still red from crying. "Mom, what's wrong?" She cleared her throat. "Your, um...your grandparents won't use their resources to find Angel but they're going to make an appeal to the Council when they have their meeting." "Oh," Carla replied. "Is that all they said?" Her mother nodded her head and pursed her lips. "They also found this. A letter from Angel addressed to all of us. Would you like to read it?" Carla nodded as her mother handed it to her. "Just know, baby, that your father and I love you so much." With a kiss on the forehead, her mother walked out of the door wiping her nose on the back of her hand as she walked away.
