Sara Valentine
The beat of the remix song annoyed Sara as she waited for her drinks at the bar, ignoring the horrible smell of body odour, many perfumes and mixed alcoholic drinks filled her nose and the stench of it all almost made her gag however she kept it all in and smiled as the bartender handed her the drinks she asked for. "Thanks!" she shouted over the music and she made her way to her table. Walking to her table she heard the all too familiar cat-calling and remarks on her beauty and, as she usually did, she chose to ignore them but grinned at her four friends that mocked the men at their futile attempts. "Here you go, ladies! Drink up!" And her friends downed their drinks with somewhat ease but before Sara could drink hers she felt her phone vibrate and when she looked at the caller ID she was very surprised to see her fathers name on the screen. She excused herself to the outside balcony before answering her father's call.
DmitriAlmost blindly enraged, Dmitri stood in front of Nina Black, unconscious and barely alive and tied to a chair and he waited for to wake up to interrogate her even though it took every fibre in his being not to snap her neck and rip out her spine through her sternum. Clenching his fists, he awaited patiently for her to open her eyes. Dmitri's thoughts were interrupted by Max's intolerable snickering. Rolling his eyes, Dmitri called out to him. "What do you want, Max," Dmitri sighed."Nothing, really," Max chuckled. "I still think it's hilarious how this all happened, don't you? The one person that could help us find Angel and she literally falls at our feet." Max shook his head and chuckled. Dmitri admired this about Max; even in the worst of situations he is able to keep his light hearted spirit alive and amuse Dmitri, even when he doesn't feel like it. It's why they got along so well. Soon Dmitri and Max's i
LuThe Alpha stared at Lu, a burning glaze in his eyes as they changed from blue the smouldering red, a letter and Garcia's journal on the table which stood between them. Lu pretended to look guilty, though in his heart he was laughing. "What do have to say for yourself, Beta Lu," the Alpha growled, tapping the letter angrily."No words," Lu whispered, "can tell you how sorry I am, Alpha." In truth, Lu couldn't care less. "Angel was desperate, no one could think of a way out for her. She believed this was her only option."His Alpha slammed a fist on the table, growling. "Running away, leading everyone to believe she died in that fire? That fire could have spread and hurt, or killed, someone else!""Forgive me, Alpha." Go rot in hell, Lu thought cynically."All right," the Luna spoke up finally. "We need to discuss these issues in a calm and rat
CarlaCarla was sitting on her bed holding her knees up to her chest with her arms wrapped around her legs when she heard a faint knock on the door, looking up she saw her mother standing in the doorway, eyes red and puffy, her cheeks still red from crying. "Mom, what's wrong?"She cleared her throat. "Your, um...your grandparents won't use their resources to find Angel but they're going to make an appeal to the Council when they have their meeting.""Oh," Carla replied. "Is that all they said?"Her mother nodded her head and pursed her lips. "They also found this. A letter from Angel addressed to all of us. Would you like to read it?" Carla nodded as her mother handed it to her. "Just know, baby, that your father and I love you so much." With a kiss on the forehead, her mother walked out of the door wiping her nose on the back of her hand as she walked away.
Nina BlackOpening the drawers Nina took out the necessary ingredients required from a spell book, containing powerful locating spells and breaking spells for the difficult task ahead. "Thyme, rosemary, a container of crushed, powdered eagle bones, a jar of liquefied cow's heart, a small jar of withered petals of a white rose, a bottle of the ashes of an ancient Redcedar tree, a map of the world - in case the Princess has not already got one - candles have already been placed accordingly upon the table, so all that is needed now is something belonging to Angelica. That should not be too difficult to accomplish." Nina took everything which stood in the middle of the dimly lit basement and began blending the ingredients together in a wooden bowl. She waited for the future King's younger sister to arrive so that they may perform the spells together. With Nina's assistance it should only take them two months to complete, three at most, to f
Dmitri ValentineThe chain holding the punching bag creaked in protest ad Dmitri continuously punched it, sweat flew off his bare chest and his breath hitched at every hit. For the past three months, ever since Sara and Nina began looking for his Angel, he has been staying at the Sanctuary however he spends most of his time in the gym, training harder and harder each day for three months. Dmitri was here at the Sanctuary because he couldn't be at the small cottage anymore. The cottage now reminded him too much of his Angel. By no means does he want to forget her however it was becoming painful and distracting to know that she was taken when he was meant to have protected her. The cottage had become some sort of memorial crypt, even though he knew she wasn't dead, she still wasn't in his arms and it haunted him. She was lost and his broken heart could barely take it. The cottage still lingered with melancholy memories.Dmitri punc
Gabriel BlackThe silver chains shackled on his ankles rattled against the stone floors beneath him, the silver metal burned and sizzled his skin. It felt as if his skin was melting off the bone. The overwhelming smell invaded his nostrils and his senses were jumbled by the sickening smell all the while his animalistic instincts blocked all rational thought so only one thing remained: the mate bond. He had been down in this cellar for far too long - days, maybe weeks - and now there was almost nothing left of his mind, he's almost completely all wolf and no human thought. The only thing driving him is the pull of the bond, he could feel his soul being pulled, nudged and pushed because his mate is here, somewhere in this building and he is too restrained - too weak - to take her for his own.Gabriel heard the sounds of the wooden doors opening with creaking protest, bare feet could be heard slapping against the concrete stairs as th
Zanier ValentineLooking back on his many - many - years of his existence, looking back on his childhood and how he was raised, Zanier knew full well that he was not a man of emotions. He refused to let his emotions dictate his choices in life as his father taught him five thousand years ago. To this day his father's voice still echoes in his memory; "Son, never allow your emotions to chose for you. Emotions are for the weak and a King cannot be weak when he rules over his people." And for most of his life he ignored his emotions and ruled his people with an iron heart, following his logic and morals that guided him to be a greater King than his father. But there have been rare times in his life when he followed his heart, sought from his emotions and made choices that his father would never have done. For instance, his beautiful wife: a loving, caring, stubborn and strong willed woman who has a fiery attitude.
LuHe didn't know this yet, but he was being compelled. He was so stricken with grief and pain from the loss of his mate, Garcia, his beautiful wife, that he did not realize that his choices, actions and thoughts were being manipulated by the girl named Madeline. She shows herself to him as a child and normally one would think twice about a child planning revenge upon the Werewolves however she has him under a spell, turning him into a pawn and a traitor to his own kind. Now he was sitting on his bed, the sunrise just peaking through his window above his bed where he sat, staring at his phone's wallpaper which was a beautiful picture of Garcia smiling brightly, her wedding veil floating in the wind. He smiled sadly at it, recalling their wonderful day and how he shed tears when he saw her walking down the garden path littered with flower petals, her dress flowing around her ankles and her hair down with soft curls which framed he
CarlaCarla is sitting in front of the bathroom mirror, wiping the steam from her reflection with one hand and holding the towel up with the other, echoes from today fresh inside her head. She stood upon the small alter, her soon-to-be Pack standing in front of her, all waiting for the ceremony finale to begin. A Werewolf elder standing beside her, knife in hand. As Carla stared at the full moon as instructed, she held out her hand for the elder as he cut the palm of her hand. His voice booming through the forest air, loud enough for even the Moon Goddess to hear. “We have accepted you as our Alpha, our leader, please recite the sacred promise and accept us as your Pack.”As the blood trickled to the marble floor, Carla loudly recited the words she had practiced for weeks.
Gabriel BlackGabriel stood at his fathers’ bedroom door for what seemed like hours, hand hovering over the doorknob, his hand retracting every so often before he took in a deep breath to prepare himself for what he was about to do. When he was brought to his father, his men had told Gabriel that he suffered severe injuries in a sudden attack that happened during a large Council meeting, killing hundreds of Werewolves and Witches. He was barely alive and needed to say his final piece to Gabriel. So here he stood, preparing for his fathers’ death. He entered the room, dark save for a few lit candles on the nightstands on either side of the large King sized bed that cradled his fathers fragile frame. Gabriel never remembered his father seeming so weak. He knew his father as a large, terrifying man that wouldn’t hesitate to kill children if
AngelicaMy mother once scolded me with tears in her eyes when she pulled my tiny body away from a crumbling cliff. I remember that day so vividly, the way her face was a mixture of terror and fury. Growing up I never knew why, but her shaky, broken voice was glued to my memory and I have never forgotten what she yelled;"What would I do if I lost you!?"I never understood what she meant by that. I understand, now.My head rested against car window as I watched the trees blurring in a dizzying speed. We were on our way to the airport, heading to Ireland to bury the familywe'velost. Just the thought of it had the lump in my throat form again and the pit inside my stomach churn and threaten to bring up whatever small food I could consume before we left and the pain came back, leaving a foul taste in my mouth. Itshouldn'tbe like this. Ishouldn'thave to bury my family,
DmitriHe’d only just started walking towards the hospital wing of the Sanctuary to see his Angel and here, right in front of him, Gabriel stood. Dmitri once had the instinctive urge to beat that man into a pulp, but now he couldn’t care less. He realized the man was too broken to be much of a threat now.“Are you going to go see her?” Gabriel asked quietly, his hands fiddling by his sides.Dmitri nodded. “Yes, she needs me now more than ever.” He ran a hand through his hair before he shoved his hands in his pockets, carefully watching the other man in front of him. Gabriel looked as if he something he wanted to say but held his tongue. It was almost aggravating to Dmitri so he sighed heavily before muttering, “Go on, say what you need to say.”Gabriel nodded. “Don’t break her heart, &l
MaxThe dark, eerie sky littered with gloomy dark clouds, a sad feeling settled in his stomach. The dim light from the moon caught his eye as he stood on a balcony high above and he thought about the Moon Goddess, why She chooses Werewolves mates, their destiny and if She would be angry if they were to choose their path, their ending? Although he knew that Werewolves and Lycan's shared some qualities, traits and genes, he knew the vast differences would make a Werewolf/Lycan pairing difficult. Werewolves have longer lifespans than humans though they have significantly shorter lifespans than Lycan's. Lycan's weredesignedto live for around three or four hundred years, so the Royal family can rule without heirs being changed every 40/50 years. Werewolves were lucky if they could make it to a hundred- and fifty-years-old. The lifespan alone makes his stomach drop. Max wasn't sure why he was even
CarlaShe looked around the forest, the beautiful rays of sunlight peeking through the leaves left her skin warm and radiating. The calm, cool water surrounding her feet soothed her aching bones and she patted through the river, a serene smile gracing her features. Not a care in the world as the wind gently lifted her hair, playing with it happily as she continued to walk through the river, letting the water rise up to her calves and giggling as it tickled her. She heard distant voices behind her. She turned to see her parents and her grandparents, smiling and waving at her. She laughed and waved back. They were shouting at her to come back, waving her over with excitement. She didn’t want to, she wanted to stay in the water a little bit longer. She enjoyed the cool, tickling feeling of the water as it rose again to above her knees. She gazed at the water, watching the ripples
GabrielThe world was foggy when he pried his eyes opened, a white glow seemed to blind him for a moment before his sight adjusted and his surroundings became clearer. A white ceiling above him greeted him, the glow of the light flickered for a second as he realized he was in a hospital bed. His thoughts were scattered as he slowly became more conscious of his situation and he wondered how he got there. He didn’t remember how he got here or who had helped him. He remembered how he crawled through the bloody hallway, agony encasing his entire body as he moved inch by inch but after collapsing it all goes blank from there. He had thought for sure that he was going to die and, if he were honest, he accepted that. He knew after everything that he had done he didn’t deserve to live. So, how did he get here?He barely recollected the distant voices moments before he passed out and while he was lost
SaraThe cold air whipped her face as she exited the dense forest tree lines with Max right beside her and into the blood-covered battlefield before her, her breathing stinging her lungs as she inhaled sharply before running to the mass of Werewolves and Witches. Max tried to shift; however, his body was too weak, so instead, he stayed as he was and jumped to help the others fight off Witches.Sara's body ached terribly as she scanned her eyes over the battle, watching as Witches conjured weapons and used magic to blast away Werewolves. Her legs shook uncontrollably while she tried to ignore her exhaustion. She needed a way to hinder all the Witches, a way to block their magic without exhausting herself temporarily. Now that Nina was....gone, she couldn't overdo it as they all needed her to get everyone out of here alive and quickly. The smell of blood and silver was more powerful now, and the screaming and battle cries made
AngelicaI didn’t know where I was. With the white walls surrounding me and medical tools on a table next to me, I knew I was in some sort of hospital but where? One second I was in this weird bedroom, and Lu looked at me with murder in his eyes and the next Carla, and I was in this large hall resembling a cathedral.I felt a crippling stabbing pain shoot up my back, my sister’s comforting words fading in and out as building pressure in my head caused me to scream, reminding me that I was wheeled away with people shouting and my sister squeezing my hand tightly. “I-I c-can’t do this, Carla,” I sobbed as the pain rippled up my spine once again and an urge to push swirled through my stomach. Tears soaked the pillow under me as I leaned my head back.My sister gently wiped my tears away as someone, whom I assumed was a doctor, placed a hand on Carla’s shoulder before she spoke. “If we a
