Chapter Thirty

Nina Black Opening the drawers Nina took out the necessary ingredients required from a spell book, containing powerful locating spells and breaking spells for the difficult task ahead. "Thyme, rosemary, a container of crushed, powdered eagle bones, a jar of liquefied cow's heart, a small jar of withered petals of a white rose, a bottle of the ashes of an ancient Redcedar tree, a map of the world - in case the Princess has not already got one - candles have already been placed accordingly upon the table, so all that is needed now is something belonging to Angelica. That should not be too difficult to accomplish." Nina took everything which stood in the middle of the dimly lit basement and began blending the ingredients together in a wooden bowl. She waited for the future King's younger sister to arrive so that they may perform the spells together. With Nina's assistance it should only take them two months to complete, three at most, to f

Chapter Thirty-Two

Gabriel BlackThe silver chains shackled on his ankles rattled against the stone floors beneath him, the silver metal burned and sizzled his skin. It felt as if his skin was melting off the bone. The overwhelming smell invaded his nostrils and his senses were jumbled by the sickening smell all the while his animalistic instincts blocked all rational thought so only one thing remained: the mate bond. He had been down in this cellar for far too long - days, maybe weeks - and now there was almost nothing left of his mind, he's almost completely all wolf and no human thought. The only thing driving him is the pull of the bond, he could feel his soul being pulled, nudged and pushed because his mate is here, somewhere in this building and he is too restrained - too weak - to take her for his own.Gabriel heard the sounds of the wooden doors opening with creaking protest, bare feet could be heard slapping against the concrete stairs as th

Chapter Thirty-Three

Zanier Valentine Looking back on his many - many - years of his existence, looking back on his childhood and how he was raised, Zanier knew full well that he was not a man of emotions. He refused to let his emotions dictate his choices in life as his father taught him five thousand years ago. To this day his father's voice still echoes in his memory; "Son, never allow your emotions to chose for you. Emotions are for the weak and a King cannot be weak when he rules over his people." And for most of his life he ignored his emotions and ruled his people with an iron heart, following his logic and morals that guided him to be a greater King than his father. But there have been rare times in his life when he followed his heart, sought from his emotions and made choices that his father would never have done. For instance, his beautiful wife: a loving, caring, stubborn and strong willed woman who has a fiery attitude.

Chapter Thirty-Four

Lu He didn't know this yet, but he was being compelled. He was so stricken with grief and pain from the loss of his mate, Garcia, his beautiful wife, that he did not realize that his choices, actions and thoughts were being manipulated by the girl named Madeline. She shows herself to him as a child and normally one would think twice about a child planning revenge upon the Werewolves however she has him under a spell, turning him into a pawn and a traitor to his own kind. Now he was sitting on his bed, the sunrise just peaking through his window above his bed where he sat, staring at his phone's wallpaper which was a beautiful picture of Garcia smiling brightly, her wedding veil floating in the wind. He smiled sadly at it, recalling their wonderful day and how he shed tears when he saw her walking down the garden path littered with flower petals, her dress flowing around her ankles and her hair down with soft curls which framed he

Chapter Thirty-Five

Dmitri"Where is she," Dmitri asked frantically as he burst through the basement door with Max trailing behind him, the smell of rotten animal flesh mixed with herbs and flowers and musty dusk hit Dmitri and Max hard. And it was difficult for Dmitri not to scrunch up his nose with disgust, however the moment he heard that Sara and Nina had found Angel he rushed over as soon as he could. He felt his anxiety like a thick bag over his head, suffocating him in anxious worry and crippling fear. But if it meant he could have his Angel back, he would pierce through everything to find her. Sara ushered him to the dimly lit table where a crystal was glued to a single spot on a map of Transylvania."She's in a place called Hoia Baciu Forest, a famously believed haunted forest in Romania. In the centre of the forest is an ancient castle hidden with a powerful spell, so this castle has been hidden for centuries," Sara explained and showed

Chapter Thirty-Six

SavannahThe Court was almost filled to the brim with Werewolves and Witches, each individual harboured concerns for the recent events going on such as Witches abandoning their alliances with neighbouring Werewolf Packs and attacking without any warning or reasons. Such as this reason for this meeting. Savannah decided to walk around the court room, she always hated just sitting in one place just waiting, and she ran into Werewolves that came to her with some concerns that they wanted brought up during the meeting, others wanted to meet her and introduce themselves and there were some that simply sat down on the podiums and just waited. Savannah understood their anxiety, these were trying times indeed. Some were scared, some were angry, others were just determined to just know what was happening. There were some that laughed and enjoyed themselves probably to ease the tension they could all feel. She walked around some more and

Chapter Thirty-Seven

Sara"The devastation of the Courtroom was beyond catastrophic, we still haven't found all the bodies yet but the death toll so far is 176 Werewolves and 55 Witches and counting. A small handful of the bodies we found were Alpha's and their Betas, most of them were the families and other werewolves that accompanied their Alpha's. We have trouble identifying the bodies as they're too disfigured but we are doing our best with the help of the Packs and Clans that have reported missing persons, however, so far we've only been able to identify a few dozen Werewolves and Witches. Those who are injured were taken to our home to recover although that could take a while since we found that whoever made those bombs also laced them with silver and wolfsbane. Whoever made these wanted them all dead...and they almost succeeded."Sara paused her hand, gripping the pen tightly as she wiped her tears away, the image of the blood stained h

Chapter Thirty-Eight

AngelicaA white curtain brushed softly against my cheek as I starred out the window watching the gentle wind blow through the trees just outside. I sighed with annoyance. I knew I was in a dream, I don't know how but I knew that this place wasn't real. It was too calm, too surreal, too foggy, to be anything but a dream. All I could do was watch the trees from this window inside this fake nursery room. Whatever this room, this place, was I knew it was made of magic because I couldn't leave. There was no door to this room. All there was in this room was a crib, a rocking chair, an empty bookshelf, a simple grey rug on the wooden floors and this window draped with white curtains. The walls were a mint green, the blankets in the crib were a sunshine yellow with a simple brown teddy bear and a fluffy white cushion. Nothing changed. The only thing that really changed was my ever growing belly which I believed was the only thing keeping me sane. Judg

Chapter Thirty-Nine

DmitriHe stared at the miserable grey tombstones, his parents' names engraved into the stones; Dmitri and Sara buried them that gloomy morning. It poured with rain then and it was pouring now. At this moment, though, Dmitri didn't care. The air was suddenly chiller, his breath a visible thick fog, it seemed that the world was growing colder by the day, almost as if the Moon Goddess, too, was grieving. However, mourning will have to wait because his anger was stronger than his grief. So much had been taken from him; Angel, his parents... It was all becoming too much to bear, but he knew that once he rescued his Angel then everything will be all right again. He had to believe that. His thoughts suddenly were interrupted by a sad, gentle voice. "I know they weren't perfect parents," Sara choked as she grabbed Dmitri's arm to hold for support, "but I think they did their best and I know they loved all of their children. All seventeen of
