"Yannaaaaa!!!! Do you really want me to beg? C'mon!" Deacon has been trying to convince Arianne to come with him to the club.

"Dea you know I don't go out! It's not my thing!"

"but Yanna you've been camping here in your room for three days already. Aren't you getting tired and sick of it?"

"why would I? I have my books and if I want I could watch something in my laptop. Deacon I'm okay!"

Arianne is one of those people who he cares so much. She is like a sister to him. They grew up together and they tend to watched each other's back.

Deacon surely knows something is wrong with her. 

His Uncle James, Arianne's dad, told him that three days ago she went to attend her bestfriend, Kristinn's wedding. And when she came back, she's also back to being quiet. 

It really made him upset seeing her that way. That's why he was trying to get her out of her room. He knows that he can't make her talk now though he already has an idea what caused her to act that way.

More or less it's her ex-boyfriend!

Deacon has been on the limelight for several years entertaining the crowd and now he has lots of savings already.

If only there is something that he can buy to make his beloved cousin happy then he'll give all his money just to offer it to her.

But he can't afford the "Jace Keller"!

As far as he know, Jace is now one of the world's most influential and richest person.

And surely, Arianne would die of embarrassment if he will make a move to reach out to her "one great love".

"Yang, can you just do this for me please? Tomorrow I'll be leaving, and maybe it'll take some time for us to see each other again, so even just now come with me please!?!!" he now gave her his puppy eyes.

She took a deep sigh. "okay Deacon! I'll come just this once because you help me comeback here in America and remember this, there'll be no second time get it?" He nodded excitedly.

Deacon came to America to bring Arianne back to where her dad is. He knows that aside from him, her dad will surely protect her for all the harm that could come anywhere and anytime.

After an hour, Deacon and Arianne arrive to the bar. It's a very big place and from the look outside, it seems like everything inside smells expensive, Arianne thought.

Arianne's a twenty year old fresh graduate of BS Psychology for the first time is stepping inside of a bar.

She is wearing a pink tube top, skinny jeans and her black boots. She made some loose curls into her long brown hair, put eye shadow and mascara to highlight her brown eyes, and she colored her lips with a pale pink lip tint.

Deacon said she look hot. And he teased her that's she has to stick with him all throughout the night if she don't want to attract attention from the men in the club that of course earned him a glare from Arianne.

When they came inside, Deacon ask for a VIP table for them and settle down. He then order his drinks and order orange juice for her as well. After a few minutes their drinks arrived. 

Arianne took a sip of her drinks and started to look around.

She got the surprise of her life to see in a corner of one of the VIP table is Jace and a pretty brunette clinging to him. She also see Kyle and some of the guys from the wedding.

So this is how wonderful his life without her presence on it? Arianne felt a searing pain inside her heart while looking discreetly into Jace' table. Well, he looks happy so she can't detest him or his action.

"Yang, Trent and Mico are coming and are on their way here is it okay?" Deacon told her casually while taking a sip on his drinks.

"yup! But Dea may I remind you that you all got flight tomorrow huh? I know you guys well enough please!?!!" she roll her eyes on him.

"Yanna what's wrong? we're all single, no girlfriends! We can have as many girls as we want!" he said and smirk.

"whatever Dea! But as soon as you have company I'll be going home. Don't look around for me ok?" he just nodded.

A few minutes later, Trent and Mico came. After giving Deacon their brotherly hug, the two men came to her side and gave her a kiss on the cheek and a hug.

Then Trent, as the second closest to her, aside from Deacon of course, sit beside her and grab her arm to hold.

"how's everything going on here for you Yan?" he said with concern. Trent looks at her like a little sister too.

After everything that happenned to her in the Philippines, Deacon and his two other friends, Trent and Mico have become very protective of her too.

"I'm doing good Trent! Thank you for asking! I feel happy to be with my dad." She answered while giving him a small smile.

"that's good to hear Yan, I'm glad you still manage to get up after what happened. Anyways, now that you already graduated, are you still going to pursue your studies or look for a job?"

"I still don't know yet Trent, I think I still have enough time to choose whether to study some more or find a job and start working. I'm keeping my option!" she then said, unaware of some killing glare being thrown in their way.

Who wouldn't dare think of them as a couple. Trent is a very charming and good looking Filipino-Chinese guy. And he also came from a very respected family as well. Too bad Arianne's heart was already occupied by Jace and Trent is just like a brother to her.

They continue to chat with each other until Mico look at the crowd and find three beautiful and hot girls. He gave both Deacon and Trent a certain look and point to the girls' direction.

Oh no manwhore alert!

"guys? Excuse me but I have to go to the restroom?" she said because honestly she don't want to witness how are they going to flirt with those girls.

She knew them well enough!

As she walk to the restroom she took a glance on Jace direction. She wonders if how much he despise her. She knows she hurt him when she left and didn't come back with any explanation.

And she understands his stand. Though by thinking of him just only brought pain in her heart. 

From the moment she stepped on American land, all she wants to do is to run to him and tell him how much she missed him. She wants to apologize for all the years that passed without any communication between them. She wants to tell him everything that happened in person.

But she abandoned those plans.

She knows better and she's not really expecting a warm welcome from him.

Since the wedding, when Jace choose to ignore and even disappear in the crowd knowing that she's there, she knows deep inside, she'd lost him a long time ago. 

For three days she spent in her room, stalking everything about him in the internet and how many girls he slept and been with, she surely knows that he's totally forgotten her.

She cried herself to sleep every night with the thought of losing him for good.

It cuts so deep but she has to move on.

For herself, for the people who still believe in her like her dad and Deacon, she will! Maybe not now, but definitely someday!

But whatever happened to her and Jace love story, she will always keep her promise to love him, understand him and wait for him. And maybe it will cost her a lifetime to do that but it's enough just to show him that he's the only one for her and no one else.

She already prepared herself to be single for the rest of her life.

After all, that's what she deserves right?

To be alone and lonely!
