Xavier shifted a little in the bed he was in.

He smelled fishy and salty air around him when he drew in a breath.

Gently opening his eyes, he looked around.

It was a very small room that consists of a little table and the bed he was in.

How did he end up here?

Who brought him here and why was there?

Questions kept running through his mind but then, the door opened and he quickly partially shut his eyes.

Jade walked in with a bowl of water and a piece of cloth.

Xavier secretly watched her as she sat beside him and soaked the cloth in water.

‘What is she doing?’ He asked himself.

She pressed the cloth to his forehead and repeated on his face and neck.

He completely forget he was injured.

He could still feel the pain in his chest but it wasn't as bad as before.

That was when he remembered what happened in Iraq and how they escaped but then, their boat sank in a river and the last thing he remembered was Jade, seriously crying as her tears dropped on his face while she said s
